I mean, the majority of us here are in the entertainment industry, so we should be the FIRST ones to accept this measures because supposedly they're here to impose justice and to protect our work... Good point, as it stands I got no other way to watch my favorite shows (House, 24, Dexter, etc, etc) other than illegally download it, if there was a way to stream it from somewhere as 720p (at the very least) with subtitles I would pay for it without even thinking about it.

And there's millions of other people in the same situation I am, so why they don't' create a good solid system for that kind of thing is beyond me.

How can someone recopyright public domain stuff?! Wtf... and if those copyrights are infringed, who would you have to pay a fine to? Given they were once public. I don't get this bullshit...
