From this article, it's good to look back and see the release price on these consoles. PS2 was released at 299$ back in 2001 and so did the PS1 at 299$ back in 1995. Damn, no wonder people were wowed by the 499$ price of the PS3, lol.

If those numbers are correct, a direct conversion to us dollars would stand around 450$. Exactly the price I think it will be released on, and like Thrik said a bargain considering you only buy a console every 5/6 years.

Well, what were they expecting? I think they got spoiled by the cheer numbers of the Wii and NDS they thought that releasing another console would sell just because it reads nintendo on the box. Do NEVER take your customers for stupid, and I think that's what they did here, the WiiU is quite possible the stupidest launch in the history of game consoles, it was doomed to fail since day 1.

With that being said, there's some promising games to be release in future months, the next big mario, zelda, etc. Stil.... how long do they plan to keep recycling the same IP's over and over again? When are they gonna open the doors to proper 3rd party studios?

Yeah, FEAR was awesome, FEAR2 I fucking hated, FEAR3 I never even touched it, so apparently it's worth a try? I kind gave up hope on the games industry ability to make more horror games. What happened to truly horror games like FEAR, Condemned, Silent Hill 2 and the old Resident Evil? The CoD era happened...

I like how they are integrating the move tech with the standard pad! Man, there's a lot of tech in that pad alone. Don't really like that prototype design tho, not sure about it, It's too chunky but it grows on you the more you stare at it, but I'm sure they're gonna redesign it a bit for the final thing. I guess we'll see in 6 days!
