I'd love to see quakeworld with modern graphics. Next to nothing changed, just a modern quakeworld with extra stuff built around the community like ingame server browser, ingame clan organization etc... Kind of like how DOTA2 handles it.

Man I love stealth, but I think that's one step too far. I find that boring as hell.

Can't wait for PC version. Regretting already that i sold my PS3 version lol.

Why the fuck did you sell your game, anyway? You nuts man? Of all games out there, you're selling the one that has the most content and replayability. MP is amazing and a must play, for many, many hours!

Man, this game looks absolutely fucking gorgeous! It gets REALLY good in the last stages of the game, really sci-fi as well! I don't get all the hate.

My father is very passionate about everything related to space, NASA, mars missions etc. I think the last time he went to the movie theater was back in 1996 for Titanic haha. Last week, he asked me what the hell 3D movies meant.

After reading all your positive feedback from Gravity, I'm gonna surprise him and go watch Gravity in IMAX 3D with him

DO IT! And please, let us know the outcome!

Looks a bit monochromatic, but it looks good.

As for gameplay, i don't know, looks more "game" than half the shit out there.

Fuck it, just saw Gravity in 3d and this movie is MUST SEE in 3d. Great pictures, great tension, great soundtrack (if you can call it that way) anyway, great audio. I felt like i was up there in space for 90 min, great expirience !

Here's a link to your question, I was also very interested. I was questioning myself, what the feeling would be like.http://science.howstuffworks.com/question540.htm Basically you would die from asphyxiation if you were there for too long. However, you can survive in space for a short period of time with very little effects. (30 seconds to 2 minutes if you can hold your breath for that long)This is assuming you would go through slow depressurization methods like a pressure chamber, if not, I would assume sudden depressurization would severely harm your body, since space is a vacuum therefor there's no pressure?I remember reading once about a deep sea scuba diver that ascended hundreds of meters in a couple mere seconds due to an accident with his O2 can, he went into a coma and his body needed years to recover, although I don't think he ever recovered in full, I wish I had the link to that article. Anyway, same principles apply, pressure/depressurize is very important, because space is a vacuum. Apparently a space suit started leaking a few years ago ... before the guy lost consciousness he remembers the saliva in his mouth started to boil. That confirms what the article says about your body fluids starting to boil after a while.

no one of you can recommend smth ? don't make me lol you guys !?

    i was looking at this

    LG 47LA620S

but it has all that fancy 3d shit and smart shit, all new tv are packed with it ;/

lol, yeah I was running away from the 3D as well, but I said fuck it and ended up buying one with 3D.

Glasses are expensive, around 50$ a pair but I have to say, if you have a blu-ray with 3D you're going to be mind blown by the quality of this! 1000 times better than the stereo image you see in the cinema these days.

Just saying, don't feel bad about getting a TV with 3D, it's actually a cool little thing to have, moast blu-rays movies you buy have 3D now, and loads of games too. Nowadays most TV models have 3D anyway.

LG 47LA620S doesn't seem to be bad, it's 120hz so you shouldn't have any ghosting but if you can try and get a better refresh rate, that little number makes all the difference for games!

But again, check a plasma model, it seems you're only looking for a 50" anyway, plasmas get expensive if you start to look for a 55"+ but they're very very affordable (more so than a LED actually) if you get a 45"/50".

For the money of that 47" LED, you can get this much better and bigger plasma

I needed to buy a new TV as well when I moved to the US, so I spent a few days researching the different TV technologies we have at the moment, basically we have Plasma vs. LCD vs. LED.

Basically, I wanted a TV that was as large as my budget could afford, extremely sharp quality, very good contrast and above all a good refresh rate since I would be doing a lot of gaming on it, specifically fast paced games so i didn't want any ghosting.

For me, Plasma won, HANDS down! If I ever need to buy another TV in the future, it will deffo be another plasma.

Here's some of the cons: Plasmas consume a little bit more energy, (around 20/25% more than the other techs)

They're also thicker therefor less "stylish" in your living room if you care for that kind of thing, they're around 10cm to 20cm thick whereas a LED/LCD are really thin, around 3cm, plasmas are also heavy as fuck.

Lastly, and this one is the biggest con for me, If you watch TV during the day you'll probably have to bring down the blinds, as Plasmas typically have some glare and reflection. Some models have a filter to work around this problem, but I decided not to go for this for two reasons, first they're more expensive, second they make the overall picture a little bit darker.

The pros: EXTREMELY accurate and deep black levels and great picture contrast. I wanted a TV who's blacks are actually blacks not a darkened flat dark greys. (LED/LCD's are known for having weird cloudy washed-out black levels)

Plasmas are progressive by nature, providing a smooth, clear on-screen motion (refresh rate), which is perfect for games and action movies, I hate seeing ghosting and nothing beats Plasmas refresh rate because of the way they create the picture.

Pasmas also provide a wider view range, so you don't need to be sitting dead on straight to a TV to see the picture like it's meant to, whereas with LED/LCD (depending on the models and how good they are), the steeper the angle you look at it, the shittier the image gets.

When picking a TV, ignore the brands and focus on picking either a Plasma vs. LCD vs. LED.

    I ended up going for a Panasonic VIERA TC-P60UT50 60" 1080p 600 Hz Plasma

Panasonic Plasmas are amazing and I couldn't recommend it more for games and to play blu-rays.

Gamestop gave it a 9, but the average I see around is a 7. Metacritic is currently sitting around 75, and I think a 75/80 is a fair score.

The game looks absolutely astonishing, extremely sharp to the point I feel disbelief this is running on my PS3, it honestly looks like a PS4/PC game.

I saw my wife play, she's loving it, but then again she also loved Heavy Rain, one of the rare games she finished, and she will also finish this one in a couple sittings, which is awesome, I like seeing her enjoying a AAA video game for once.

From what I've seen, writing is a little bit convoluted and weird and the pacing is a bit all over the place, which is what can be expected by the spiritual sequel to Heavy Rain. I mean, the plot is not bad, but it's the weird execution that leaves me a little bit sad, which is a shame considering the amount of great content in here. I really wish for the next game David Cage hires a Hollywood writer and/or director. Heavy Rain felt extremely b-movie like, this one is much better but it's not quite there yet.

As for gameplay, it's a bit sad the game sometimes floods you with options, and others you have no option whatsoever and the game forces to do things. Cohesiveness is not a thing this game does very well, I wish they hired someone who understands gameplay progression better.

THAT SAID, I wouldn't skip on this game if you have a PS3. Did i mention it looks absolutely unbelievable?!?!

Even with all the flaws, It's worth it getting full price, if anything you'd be supporting a different kind of game.
