It can be an extremely, extremely overwhelming game for a beginner, so I recommend going in with the expectation that you'll have to spend a few hours just learning the ropes. After that, you're good.

Big day! Good to see this finally out. Seems like a successful release
-
Just ran around this in game... wow. Impressive

Beautiful colors

Was expecting to see about 10-15, but this really does look more interesting than a AAA. I'm willing to cave on this one to support these fellas.
edit: and I did

-
Alright you sold me. That does look pretty awesome
edit: Jesus Christ, 25 bucks? That's asking alot, indie bros. Maybe when it goes on sale

There was a long thread on polycount about the guy, but this is the only i could find now: http://www.polycount.com/2010/12/05/pre-dom-war-v-caution/
It's a real shame that somebody else can't step up to host a contest if there were questions about this other person

Sorry to meet you under these circumstances, but welcome to Mapcore

there is no right answer on color correction, its one of the most subjective things ever. just dealing with your own art work, one little tweak here or there might be just as good, at the end of the day you are required to make a decision

It's very plausibly lit, but I'm not sure you're getting your best screenshot that way. I'd try to unify the scene a bit more with a single color saturation

Last three shots really stand out for me, gonna run around this tommorow

Happy, bright, "I could play this a million times" exterior, opulent, solid gold interior is my goal, since it's going to be relatively deathmatchy. OK -- back to work
