    Why is that scary? Remember how they completely fucked up the last Sim City launch? Or what about the inferior cash in that was Dragon Age 2? The rushed Mass Effect 3? Or how they practically killed every developer they ever bought? How about ruining top rated franchises such as Command and Conquer and Dungeon keeper? Online pass? Forced Origin? Badly implanted micro transactions? No customer support? No after release support? By now people should expect nothing less from EA. There's a good reason why they have been chosen as the worst company for 2 years in a row.


    I'm sure that when it works, BF4 will be great by all means and undoubtedly that everyone who worked on it put in their hearts and souls but as it stands it's a clusterfuck of a release with NO support. Sure, Dice is working hard on patches, but EA just redirects customers to Answer HQ which is the most arrogant solution of "customer service" I ever witnessed. If it was used as an extra tool for support it would be fine but no, EA just redirects you there. You have a problem? Guess what, so do these poor sobs which we sold unfinished crap. Why don't you guys try to fix it yourself. Thank you and fuck you I suppose. Answer HQ is kinda like an EA victim support group.


    All my friends who bought BF4 had problems and ended up getting refunds (not through EA, but through the stores they bought it from) or sold their complete Origin accounts.

    Ok. Now you need to turn this into a full article. Not a fan of mega corporations taking a big steaming dump on valuable IPs and customers

    The most played videogame in the world changes a lot throughout the years. I don't foresee LoL being number one forever...


    and when I say niche, I think I meant genre more. Remember when the FPS genre was on top? I think the novelty of the MOBAs will wear off to some degree, although it is probably a more casual friendly genre than shooter games.


    But Heroes is also a MOBA...Maybe LoL is a little less hardcore than Dota 2, but if I compare the learning curve to a shooter, I'm not sure if I can agree with your statement. Back then all I had to figure out was how to point my gun at a dude. Now I need to google vocabulary like "bot", "missing", "jungler" and read a guide/watch videos on how to play a champion before standing a chance.


    My point is that with this game, the MOBA genre is getting more crowded, leading a company like Riot imo to be facing increased competition from companies like Valve and Blizzard, which would concern me if I were in Riot's shoes, considering they really only have one (albeit huge) franchise.


    As far as what I said about MOBAs being more casual, I should have said "family-friendly". I see a lot more women, girls, and young people playing MOBAs than I ever did shooter games, probably because shooter games are just so inherently testosterone-y, graphic and violent. For instance, my neighbor and his wife play LoL and actually encouraged me to start playing it (this was probably when I first realized how enormous LoL had gotten)... I just don't see that happening with a violent shooter game. Neither genre is inherently more easy to play, as the skill ceiling in both shooter games and MOBAs can be crazy high.

    • Custom config with recommended tweaks.
    • Change all the settings to low.
    • Run the 32 bit version.
    • Update all my drivers (Directx, Videocard, Windows update, etc)

    • Unpark CPU cores or park them (both were suggested)

    • Close all other programs, including Chrome, when the game is starting.
    • Reinstalling Directx. Reinstalling all the executables in in the Battlefield folder.
    • Reinstalling Microsoft Framework.
    • Changed Nvidia Control Panel settings to Max Pre-Rendered Frames to 1. Also disabled Geforce experience and did a clean install of the drivers without installing the HD audio driver.
    • Danced around the PC naked while doing an Voodo enchantment.


    that's a looong list of shit I would never do prior to asking for a refund. props.
