Internet Explorer? Come on...

One word - DELUSIONAL.

I'll listen to this on Monday alongside Podcast 17.

I loved the first Riddick game especially the combat system. It seems pretty similar in the sequel as well. There's just something about the swaying of the camera that looks incredibly polished and cool.
Definitely looking forward to it.

He certainly looks like a nutter.

I mailed Valve before about a problem I was having with the combine soldier's AI and I got a reply pretty snap. It's worth a try.

I guess a single map is too small a thing to actually donate money for. For something like a map pack full of all sorts of custom goodies there's a higher change that people would donate some cash for all the effort gone into it.
The only place where donations work really well are community-based websites like Interlopers.

These remind me of those 5-in-1 controllers you can plug straight into your TV to play games.

Nice and simple.

I promise that I will never post Photoshop'd screenshots or dev-textured maps ever again.

-
I only took screenshots of that particular map to try out a tilt-shifting tutorial.
It's nothing serious. -

What are you waffling on about? That looks great.

Tilt-shifting is awesome.

Quite simply the most easiest editor ever.

Quote from duxI thought I was looking at magnars portfolio

Quote from 2d-chrisOn my website I found it quite useful to talk through some stages of the design process, I mean you don't have to do it but it encourages people to contact you.
I might get around to doing a write-up of how the one level for Paradigm Decay changed so drastically with side-by-side comparisons and whatnot. That's something I've been planning to do for a long time.

Sounds great. I've applied for a BSc (Hons) in Games Design at Staffordshire Uni which should be good fun and hopefully I'll be able to get more work done for my portfolio.

Judging from your portfolio, I don't see you having any problems finding a job.

What subject is the degree?

Here's my newly redesigned portfolio. It's fairly simple and borrows bits and bobs from other sites which some of you may recognise but I'm happy with the layout with the exception of the resume section which looks a bit naff to be honest! Feel free to provide feedback.
