To me, those levels were always a major part of Sonic. They used to scare the hell out of me!A lot of Sonic levels had these underwater mechanics, such as the Labyrinth Zone, Chemical Plant Zone, Aquatic Ruin (?) Zone... Fun, in a really stressful way!
I always used to shit bricks whenever the countdown music began to start.

This is my entry for TF2Maps CTF contest. I spent 15 hours on Friday (10am till 1am) basically crunching down to get everything done like the particles, 3D skybox, misc details and brushwork. Though I'm not completely happy with the result and I wasn't able to get everything done due to how silly Source is, I'm glad I got it out for the deadline and it was an interesting experience to work for such a long period of time under pressure. Twas a good motivator!

NOT GOOD.

Textures are now able to be scaled to values beyond 2 decimal points. Yippee.

Over 5 years of using Hammer and only now do I learn this. I bet I've accidently hit Z loads of times and thought it was just Hammer playing up.

@ HP : It's probably not the source engine we love but the games it use (and personaly it's because I could not run anything before having a new cg two months ago)
Exactly. I would love to make levels in UE3 or Cryengine but there's no games under those engines that interest me or seem to have as big a fanbase as a lot of Valve games do.

Hopefully they'll also fix the arrow keys being broken when using the texture app tool. So frustrating being unable to change the camera angle whilst texturing.

This game is £5 on Steam today.

-
Quick Hide is the shiz.

EDIT: You know, it's kinda funny how they shoehorning these simply features in yet they can't be arsed to fix the flickering overlays in shaded texture view.

That's Quake 3?
Looks really darn good! -
Judging by your posts today, I'm thinking that you've recently discovered the wonder that is Charlie Brooker?

I'm disappointed.

I knew that. Honest.

Well, it's out. Anyone tried it?

I could do with playing a new Splinter Cell. Shame that Ubisoft are forcing their silly DRM into every game they're releasing otherwise I'd get it.

The plot thickens...
Quote‘A Labour spokesman said Timms was an expert in this area, pointing out that he wrote a book about broadband 25 years ago, “before many people knew what it was”.The spokesman added: “He is in total command of the detail and it would be ridiculous to suggest that he doesn’t know the difference between intellectual property and internet protocol. This is an embarrassing slip and Stephen Timms will make sure it won’t happen again.”’
