I saw someone on BLU upgrade their mini combat sentry into a RED level 3 sentry with all the same properties of one. o0

I just downloaded the update and the first thing I do is find the engineer theme in the GCF to have a listen. ![]()
I really hope the final unlock is the PDQ which they were testing almost a year ago now. I'll be extremely disappointed if it's not or if there isn't something similar that allows offensive engineering. :\
Rob, you are a mad man.

Nightfall is a 3-stage PLR map that I began in May '09 as an entry for the TF2Maps.net annual contest #3 which it consequently won!
By taking feedback from the official PLR map - Pipeline - the map was designed to provide players with plenty of routes into the enemies base to help aid the breaking down of a good defence. It features neutral arenas at the center of each stage instead of chokepoints which allows players to move more freely between the bases, and mechanics to help motivate players to complete the objective in the shape of short bursts in progress once the cart reaches a downhill slope and a round timer which, upon expiring, forces both carts to slowly roll forward until either one reaches its objective.
Enjoy! ![]()

Fantastic stuff. ![]()
I'm not at all too sure about having the control point in such a small confined place.
The cobbles look a little too flat but overall it looks rather lovely.
At the moment I'm designing a short HL2 map to add a little variety to my portfolio and - as one who is completely comfortable with designing for multiplayer - it's somewhat of a challenge. I started with a document outlining the idea of the map as a whole and began to write a simple script describing the player's journey throughout including how long it should take between each section and what levels of stress the player should be put under during each event with the purpose of maintaining pacing. Now I'm building the map based partly on sketches and reference images but otherwise off the top of my head and so far it's going well. ![]()
Now, out of interest, I'd like to know how you guys approach single player design in terms of coming up with ideas for puzzles/scenarios, pacing the gameplay, blocking out the layout, etc, etc.
Source is looking pretty damn nice now. It finally has fully dynamic shadows. ![]()

...well, at least it will have a cute robot with a British accent! ![]()
Goldeneye for Wii. FUCK YES.
Fuck Valve. ![]()
Bulletstorm is my number one favourite game so far.
That conference was so bad.
Do not want. Not interested in 3D in the slightest. :\
Quote from skdrYeah, that monday Regal Theater event is not cancelled.

For some reason, I really dislike the idea of being stuck with a telephone company and having to pay a pretty big sum amount of money every month.I like to pay for the phone (equipment) entirly, and then I just refill my phone as I see fit or when I run outta money on it.
Me too except the iPhone is priced ridiculously if you want one with no contract. ![]()
Just use your browser. I have mine open 90% of the time anyway.
