Displacements kinda suck for walls, because they have a very awful control when you move the vertices.

My first level editor was the Editor for Starcraft. Ive tried to make some custom maps with custom mapping settings but the KI never played.

Holy shit, nice work. Especially the outdoor part! Perfect lighting, nice flora and pretty textures for the house. Looking forward to see the finished map.

But that aside, as I said earlier I'm prepared to pay that bit more for the best user experience possible, and not just the functionality. Until Linux can master both (which is going to require a lot of its user's mentalities changing) it's going to remain just how it is. A niche home OS.

How you can know that Linux cannot master both? You didnt tried it, right? Also, not every Distribution is built for tweaking. Ubuntu is a 100% desktop distro and is very comfortable. Has the most best hardware recognition, most comfortable pre-configuration and configuration tools. And has also a kickass community. What you want else?

I have no doubts this movie will be fantastic and a true classic that raising a bunch of questions of what it is that makes us human. Basically everything the story for Half Life 2 wasn't.

Uhm, well. Maybe some stuff what only happened in the movie or environments, who aren't made by the description in the book, are HL2 inspired. Lets be honest. When the pic below doesnt remind you of HL2, what else?
