I loved GoW because it wasn't a pretentious game. It's a game about carnage, emptying your machinegun and ripping locusts appart. I just hope GoW 2 plays exactly like that because frankly I'm tired of pretentious FPS games, who make up shitty gameplay with annoying plots and drama.
Well, those "pretentious FPS's" just show that you can do more with an FPS than just killing everything that moves. FPS games are most direct, because you actually play from the view of the main character, rather than from a "observer" point of view, similar to movies, where an actor has to communicate his feelings through facial expression, language etc. In FPS games, emotions and the events are brought to you directly, giving also space for the possibility for the player to interact. It's just that no one has ever made extensive use of that fountain of awesome. [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif] I've never seen a shooter that deals or at least show how disastrous war really is, how it corrupts people (and by people I mean YOU, the guy with the weapon). Of course most people don't care about that. They just want to be in a war, shoot stuff/people or they just do it for fun and not for specific reasons (such as being a suck ass gun freak). However, don't we already have enough of those shooters?
I mean, seriously, after all these MoH's and CoD's, it'd be nice to see a shooter either from a different point of view or with a different focus. I don't mean to bash anything/anyone. I just think that FPS's and games in general have a lot of resources that haven't been used yet.Yeah, GoW 2 looks really badass tbh
Nothing 'bout sawkilling locust assholes

*shrugs* Well, they have to make money in a way or another... right?
I'm not hyped about either one of these games, though I like Dead Space's setting a lot. I don't have a console though. So I don't care, actually.

If you like the shamisen, or you're just into bluegrass - and maybe a lil' bit of metal - God Of Shamisen might be worth a try

-rt- go apply to ACE team the maker of Zeno Clash...
He is ace after all. Heh.
@ -rt- : Looks kind of trippy. Even though a single texture would look really weird in an entire scene, your composition looks really, really ace. Keep 'em flowing

Worst. Make-up. Ever. I'm not very excited about it. Batman Begins was waaaay better

The general theme I read is that in a dystopian city where everything is controlled (including the decoration, clearly), the only way for criminals and such to get messages to each other is via on-foot couriers. You're one of these couriers.
Fixed. An utopia is the exact opposite of a dystopia, what you actually meant.

Sounds like an unusual, yet appealing storyline to me (not one of these "I'll save the world by killing X monsters and Y bad guys, while dying and reincarnating Z times.")

Looks awesome... but, what's this game about? Climbing skyscrapers and stuff?

catzFor some reason, the second pic is just awesome. I don't know why. It just is.

Hah don't know what is so creepy in foreign language

It's not the fact that it's a foreign language. It's the fact that it's a Slavonian language and yet, it sounds weird to me

You're creeping me off, seriously.
