  • What's going on with your life?

So, got the first migraine I've had in 4 weeks. It was nice to have a pretty long break and I felt like this was gonna be a mild one. Unfortunately, it wasn't and after 3 hours or so I was struggling like a motherfucker not to vomit like crazy. I get extremely nautious but I learned from a doctor that you don't actually have any physiological need to vomit, it's just that your body can get nautious from intense pain itself.

I've been suffering from Migraines for years. Have you tried sumatriptan already? It did wonders for me. Everytime I feel like I might have a crisis I take a pill and it goes away in 30 minutes. My quality of life improved immensely after I started taking them since my previous medicine would only work 50% of the times and the side efects were pretty brutal. Sumatriptan works 90% of the time and I never feel any side-effects. (Damn, I sound like a spam bot)

Fun fact: I used to have maybe 3 to 6 crisis a month before I started using some green "migraine herbs" more regularly. These days I have maybe 1 crysis every 2 or 3 months. Definitely look into that if sumatriptan is not being enough, natural stuff usually works much better to prevent onsets, are cheaper and much safer

This time I tried sumatriptan for the first time! What delivery method do you use? Just a regular pill? My doctor adviced the nose spray or injection since, if I get nautious, my stomach won't digest the pill properly. Went for the nose spray this time. I can't say it had much effect, maybe I used it too late or was just unlucky. Or maybe the attack would've been way worse without it. Hmm.

How do you know when an attack is coming? I must be pretty bad at subtle cues because I only know when my vision becomes changed and by then I know 100% it's gonna happen (I lose my focus vision, so I can't read). I usually try to read the small print of a medicine package to double-check in case I'm unsure (if it's time... I can't see shit of what it says). This is maybe 30-45mins before the pain starts setting in (the pain creeps up on me slowly, becoming worse and worse).

What did those hippie pills contain? I've heard butterbur is used sometimes.

I haven't seen it but me and my sister talked, and laughed, about how it feels like a sci-fi writer pulled this wonky sci-fi premise out of his/her ass under the false assumption that it would be "fascinating" or some shit.

Still not a fan of the police barricades in the basketball area. I really, really think that the court itself should be surrounded by a halfsized-wall that separates the stands from the court. Other than that, awesome stuff.

and I must say that the gameplay is a bit rudimentary. This definitely feels like one of those "experience games" where the devs throw vistas, story and cool moments at the player to keep them interested, which is fine but a shame that the game isn't "complete" in a gameplay sense. Who knows, maybe things will change, we'll see as I progress!

Do you guys remember the weapon sounds in Raven Shield? I thought they were fantastic, so crisp and punchy.

Definitely interested, looks like a game built on a solid foundation. I'm just hoping that things don't get too repetitive as you scout with a spider drone for the 300th time.

I think, possibly, that the later locations might be bigger. Also, I suspect that maybe you get to see new missions on Earth for example. There's this sealed door at the end of a long and Hive-infested path which you reach from the outdoor area of Skywatch (too long to be a dead end?). I think it's sealed because some quest takes you there sooner or later. Or maybe it's just a dead end, who knows.

In any case, I feel like even if the game lasts a week; it'll be a good week.

It's true, it's sort of like Borderlands but the difference is that THIS IS FUN TO PLAY AND HAS GUNPLAY THAT'S WORTH A DAMN. Also, Halo games are solid when it comes combat, so it being "mixed with Halo" isn't bad imho.

Also, fuck originality. If it's fun it's fun it's fun.

Looks fantastic... but why is there tape on the magazine

I thought a russiophile like you would know, AFAIK it's very common within the Russian Army.

It's either for better grip or for marking the magazine if it contains some special ammo (the latter is mostly done with coloured electrical tape though, so I'm guessing the former).

No trouble navigating. There's always the arrow that points to the next waypoint (and waypoints are placed in a very helpful fashion to help you through the more twisty and turny areas).

I agree with the bullet-spongyness of enemies to some extent. The Devil Walker fight outstays it's welcome a tad by being so incredibly spammy and repetitive.

Like, if you go to options and swap your special weapon, and swap back again you'll loose all your ammo.

I think that is by design. When you swap special weapons, you lose your ammo. I think it's to prevent people from swapping back and forth like crazy ("oh, we're in a large area now, swapping to sniper. oh, I went inside, shotgun it is").

Played through the beta, enjoyed it. Was intrigued by the story and the presentation. Gameplay was solid with some nice enemy variation.

If I pick this up it will be for PvE primarily (can't stand PvP with a controller...).

Played through it again, this time as a warlock (played titan before, both to beta max level). As it stands, gonna pick this up! It's fun, yo. My only complaint is that the classes don't differ too much in playstyle (I can only assume they become more different as you progress).

I hope we get some very varied enemies and locales as you progress, starting to get a bit tired of the Fallen Vandals and the Cosmodrome.

Counter Strike Global Offensive Ranked Competitive 5on5

I think you might wanna consider shooters pretty soon, just make sure he plays singleplayer on easy. Depends on how bad he is atm of course. Walking Dead is a good fit probably, agreed on that. Maybe Portal games? If he likes puzzling.
