The thing I like about this is that it doesn't have the same cockpit-fetish of other recent space games (Elite: Dangerous, Star Citizen). I don't want to sit for 30mins to turn on the main engine so that I can just fly around in a black void and look at planets from a distance. I want to "get out there" and alternate between space and planet side activities seamlessly, which this game seems to allow! The aesthetic is cool as hell and the fact that they take some astrophysical liberties is fine by me (planets are underdimensioned and too close to eachother etc).

So pumped!

Haven't played many games this year.. hmm. Far Cry 4 is a lot of fun thus far. Last of Us Remastered must sort of count as a 2014 title? Just ordered Shadow of Mordor, that might become a contender.

I digested this some more over the night and this morning. One thing I failed to mention was that it was an incredible journey. With all the danger, strange science, overwhelming visuals and vast distances involved, it truly felt like you were part of this next generation of explorers just like Cooper talked about. Explorers at the very edge of their humanity. Did anyone genuinely know what would happen next at almost any point? I think this is one of the films major strengths.

I just saw, it was good but not fantastic. Thought the part after he entered the black hole and the entire resolution was lacking a bit, but still a very good movie and some very nice sensory overloads.

Also, the robots were awesome and hilarious.

I hated this hilt/cross-guard at first as well, but now its growing on me everytime I see it, and I kinda love it, even if it still reminds me of a blowtorch welded onto a saber hilt. Could help that the rumours behind it also sound really interesting.
