just started learning zBrush (well, I've been watching one tut explaining how to open the program and telling me what they call tools)

pretty intuitive tool, this is one of the basemeshes it's shipped with and I like testing out all the tools and options with these heads

well - good photos, I'm not too impressed by the fireworks one (though I know they are hard to catch but Fireworks-Fotos are always all or nothing) - maybe it's just a little bit too bright.
the portrait of the old guy on the other hand is superb. I don't know why but I like the way the picture is composed (colorwise and DOF)

I'd like to see some kind of splashpage with one row for spotlight screens and one row for screens that are just worth noticing and can be changed on more regular base. Don't merge frontpage and forum. It will just look dull and like the 100.000th "we are so great and babyprofessional" site (imho...).
I'd love to see Warcraft 3 and WoW as a CG Movie. These cutscenes are always so damn great...

Nah in retroperspective I think it could have been much worse (we had some scout-hikes where we had to sleep within a boar-pit and stuff)
A cab would have been to expensive (costs 15 to 20 € and I had no money with me...) and well a bit of outdoor challange doesn't hurt usually
are they foto-overpainted or freehand? they look damn impressive!

you can actually install some activex shit into your firefox and it will run the windows update as well... if you're lucky and ms doesn't f* up your windows at the same time 
the update is just uberpwnge. had no problems apart steam decided to start tf2 and dl the patch within the game 
Alot of fun, some little bugs and the feared heavy wave didn't occur on any server i played. people take it to chose spy, sniper or medic to counter anyone trying to get achievements instantly.
yes - the xbox thing is indeed very cool. I don't know too much about these console-controllers but ain't they pressure sensitive on some of the buttons? because I think that'd be one huge advantage in terrain generation
