University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt. Same as penE, moc, Sector-Effector and a few more on here. Its okish - given that its free I wouldn't call it a mistake. Got me a few good contacts, a bachelor's degree and 2 years of toying around with a few different things.
BA Digital Media in Game and Animations.

out of curiosity - where did you apply? environment looks good for a first application but I'd try to push it further in the time that you are waiting for another gig.

wow that event trailer was really nicely done.
-
yeah hands and feet are a bit small but looks good none the less!

The game still looks great, but that particular aspect is irrelevant because I seriously can't imagine people will communicate that much or in that much of an 'in fiction' way in the real world. More often than not you'll probably end up paired with a squeaky teenage kid munching on crisps down his microphone unless you play with friends.
sounded pretty much like the amount of comm we have going on in a typical dota match. but as you said: it actually felt like a good dialogue (or a bit over the top for just chatter) and was refreshing to all the overdone voice overs in other trailers.

With all the women in games discussion right now, I wonder why the depict the Sniper always and only in Bikini-Tops...
Also - children as soldiers seems to be a very touchy subject - I wonder how they tackle this. Will they be active opponents or just stand-ins in cutscenes or just some flackback you get?

Would love to see them pushing Cinematics more on this. The first one was one of the best games in my book apart from the break in style when it came to the story segments. Would love to see this all in the style of the teaser

so, DICE LA is working on SW, and Stockholm is BF4 and ME2?

' timestamp='1370635746' post='334433']Few blu-rays nowadays come with 3D as well, I was extremely impressed at Prometheus, best 3D in a movie I've ever seen, so sharp too.
This. Saw Prometheus with a work mate in LA on a 3D TV and it convinced me that its worth picking up a good TV and Bluray Player since the quality is beyond anything I've ever seen on a TV before. So crisp!

means, everyone on mapcore is a potential candidate?

really excited to see what they get out of source. I've seen source in the past with completely replaced lighting systems (deferred, similar to CryEngine or UDK) so I believe they can pull off something "next-genish" with it

This toolset just gets better and better, doesn't it? Awesome job!

Well polished tools like this are super awesome. I've been eyeballing RAD's telemetry collection tool as well - but heatmaps, to me, only go so far. You can't tell gameplay 100% from a top down view - especially in an FPS.
yeah especially in games like TF2 or any other assault game mode: more deaths towards the end of the map (and maybe around the spawn) should be normal. anyone playing dustbowl knows that you get loads of death on the final stretch, but its not a broken layout its just what's supposed to happen. Same can be translated to Deathmatch or anything if you supply powerful items in certain locations etc.

puddy you need a second monitor. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
-
looks great but too much chromatic aberration and its very very green

-
what the fuck just happened?
-
that's awesome to hear

watched book of mormon while living in LA and thought it was alright - the humor was very flat and the music was below standard

i enjoyed "old" musicals more (loyd webber for example)
