Isn't there also some sort of "Base Commander" for people who suck at RTS economies and resource gathering?
-
Very nice.

Do a skin for her X-2 costume!

-
Holy shit Supreme Commander is looking amazing

I can't wait

-
Well humanhead may be developing it but 3DR is atleast producing it.
-
They should just cancel it, maybe release whatever they already have done for free, then after Prey is done begin work on a new Duke that utilizes whatever engine Prey uses and not call it "Forever".

That's the problem though, isn't it?
Is it?
 -
lol, you have so many shortcuts in your taskbar. Though the only ones I recognize on the second row are Pakscape and WoW.
-
How long has this been in pre-production?

QuoteLittle Sister may look and sound sweet and innocent, but your opinion of her will probably change when you see her jam a foot-long syringe into a corpse and drink up what she extracts. Sound twisted? That's exactly the point. Irrational isn't so big on making the usual demons and monsters as bad guys. Instead, the baddies you'll deal with are all human, or basically human. Remember those "deep themes" I hinted at earlier? The loss of humanity is one of them. Every adversary you face is human who, through the course of whatever calamity happened in Rapture, has become less than human.

Generals is one of the few stratetic games that actually pulled something off when it came to game play. The only games that has managed that after Blizzards StarCraft is Blizzards Warcraft III...And before any of you go say that the LOTR strategic games are fun, yea they are, but they arent funny long. (not nearly as balanced as it should be)!
Tank rushes are not good for gameplay.

-
It uses an upgraded Generals engine and is made by the same team, so I am skectical. However their work on BFME and BFME2 was good.

Yah but it's like 2040 something now so I hope it's not just plasma lasers and stuff. I never liked the cyborgs in Tiberian Sun. I loved the semi-realistic approach in the original. Stealth tanks and Orcas along with oldschool gun turrets and jeeps.
Ya, stealth tanks you can't get anymore semi-realistic than that...

lmao
I didn't notice that until I3yG pointed it out

When did he say that?
QuoteI do think unique texturing is the key for the coming generation. There are lots and lots of graphics technologies that we can look at. And maybe you add five or six up and they wind up being something that really gives it a next generation wow. But just by itself, even with no newer presentation technologies, allowing unique texturing on lots and lots of surfaces, I think, is the key enabler for this generation.
I doubt he would contradict himself so I guess he must of meant something else by "key enabler", or he meant that unique texturing in general and not just what he's been working on will be what defines next generation graphics.
