yes, let's make a competition, submit your designs and if they are vaguely usable they get made into t-shirts. and we have a big bunch for people to choose from.
make sure all rights are signed away to mapcore so the funds can go to keeping the core up to date and alive.
which one of the admins is going to do this? we still need a donate button as well. i have used this before to make payments where paypal was not an option. it's safe, secure, really good alternative to paypal for those that cannot use it:
http://www.ccbill.com/online-merchants/index.php
and of course you could set up a paypal option for those that can use it.
as for t-shirts no need to reinvent the wheel, just use what polycount are using.

that site supports both us and eu, but you might have to make some amendments to ship to the us, here is the us signup page:

if you guys need or want help i'll be happy to help as i am sure will others, but you nicemen are admins for a reason: make stuff happen.

no, we know you mean it, which is what makes it interesting, funny, infuriating and lovable.

awwwwwwwwwwwww shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

agreed, in their apparent attempt to make it unlike left for dead, it appears to be more like a very unpopulated dead rising.

the tilde would rule

the cog from the old logo, and the cube.
cube on the sleeve, cog on the breast.
the cog huge and spread around the left side, half on the front half on the back
make it so.

Crysis what now?

perfect.

the tools are actually awesome but they are all interlinked like a web, and to release them would mean untangling a web so people could make animu lolicon big titted japanese marines fighting robots.

god sentura, don't get me wrong, i think you are a decent guy and i have nothing against you personally so don't take this the wrong way.
but you have such a talent for spouting the most bitter and negative diseased shit at any given opportunity.
you don't have a point at all. some indie developers are making a game that isn't another BLOPS or brownanblooman shooter and people are excited by it because it's something a little bit interesting that people can enjoy. a fresh coat of paint on something that is vaguely familiar that perhaps harkens abck to the days when they would play 3d platformers on the PS1 with their friends, and you want to come and shit all over that because people have some positive things to say about it.
if you don't like it then say it. but to go on this tirade of cancerous abuse whilst doing seemingly nothing to offer any solution, or to offer any ideas that you think would improve this industry that you apparently hate so much is just too much.
it's fun to have you around as a kind of bitter ogre we can wheel out when it's a slow news day is good fun, but you either need to crack your heart of stone or we need to get a larger platform for your opinions because i think you could piss off a lot more people and we could have a lot more fun watching it.

don't be naive insta, staff are just tools to be used by creative masterminds who push the industry forward with unique ideas
-
what do you want then, sentura? what should the industry do?
-
what the fuck are you even trying to say

it depends what people want out of a game. i would love a game where just exploring beautiful environments is the main thing.
for me, i enjoy all kinds of games. i just played a series of pretty bad games by many standards but i had an enjoyable time. why must everything be art, or be the next big innovation?

well that's awesome that we can help. maybe a public notice that you have a donation system available would make more folks realise they can help.
also, what sort of payment options would you accept? cause paypal for me is an issue

-
this might not be the place to offer, but if we need ot get a donation sorted out to help mapcore evolve or move to a better server, or if we even need to purchase your time as a web developer then let's do that, I would be more than happy to donate a hundred euros and i am sure the other mapcorians would put in amounts that reflect their means. such as peris and philipk putting in a hundred thousand dollars and HP putting in a small portuguese cake.
but all joking aside, if this would help then PM me or make it public, if it's for the benefit of mapcore people will help.
