start steam, click add non-steam game, and look what it does. it scans looking for relevant files. origin has been shown to scan files it thinks are relevant, looking for ea games, but it doesn't send anything of any value back to ea.

i actually love battlelog. i HATED the idea of it, but in actual practical terms i love it. with a few more features it will take over steam as my all-time favourite server browser style.

I can understand 4 player squad cap annoyance, luckily I have been playing with 3 other friends so no problems at all for us, guess we were lucky. We have had no problems joining same team with 4 people, party system worked flawlessly.
Choppers are ludicrous. They take direct tank shots and still survive. On top of being able to kill a tank in a single salvo. I wouldn't mind the salvo so much if they weren't tank shell resistant.
I cannot comment. But choppers are pretty hard to fly, so it balances out I guess. Plus the purpose of the game is teamplay, you need to rely on your Stinger-equipped buddies, and unlocks for tanks help you survive.
Very unstable, granted it happens with a PC game but half my friends crashed while trying to change their mouse sensitivity, settings, etc every time they tried. Don't use the "Buy better pc" line here.
I am running everything at ultra, 70fps, no crashes. the guys I am playing with have a mixed range of pc's, there's been 1 crash on the lowest end pc in 6 hours of playing. Make sure you all update to the latest drivers, and don't run it too high if you can't handle it, the game is deceptively demanding.
Lag tastic at the moment. Rubber banding everywhere.
There's been a fair bit of that in certain servers, however I've been playing 64 player servers, been through all maps, the laggiest was caspian border, and even that was completely playable. I won't say it doesn't exist but I have yet to consider any server unplayably laggy.
The maps that have been made conquest and rush compatible I.E metro are just awful, this is not conquest. This is run at a straight line to each other and see who can spam the most until someone wins.
All maps have all game modes, you don't have to play them, you know what you're getting. Legitimate complaint, but I imagine people would complain if there were gamemode-specific maps, don't you think?
What is the point of squad leaders now? You can spawn on anyone, the reason for leaders was to spawn on them.
Agree and disagree with this, all a SL is good for now is locking the squad. But it was actually more annoying having to spawn on only 1 guy in yoru squad, now you don't have to rely on just him, you can get back into battle faster, and you can play as a team much easier, you don;t have 1 guy elft alone in battle while the other 3 try to catch up to him, you all spawn together. I would rather see the SL get some other kind of bonus, like points for all team members if they attack a target designated by the SL, but that might already happen I don't know.

i've just spent 3 hours playing with 3 friends in a squad, raping everything. this is easily my mp game of the year. i would say i am having even more fun than in tf2.

well with one thing and another i never really played much BF3 the past few months, but i just sat down and played a good 3 hours, did about 4 maps.
this is the best game i've played in years. i would even go so far as to say this is the best game ever made lol. it doesn't get boring, it gets better as you play. best MP game i have played since TF2, or CS.
i want to play some single player now, but i need to get some sleep.
