i just went back to this again, biggest piece of shit i've ever played. i almost want video games to crash so we are forced to make something that isn't a huge steaming pile of shit. why can't we make good games with a decent budget, that sell a couple hundred thousand, recoup costs and keep going. this turn towards blockbuster shit is murdering creativity.
i am about ready to give up videogames. anyone reccomend something that i can play to make up for this festering piece of cancer?

I was thinking of doing some kind of badges/titles or at least a list of contributors somewhere which gives you some kudos for contributions, this'd be much easier on the new layout as it could go in the sidebar. I've seen contributor badges used on other forums and in some cases they even get special privileges but I don't know what exactly to do regarding that, needs some thought. I do kind of like the idea of giving recognition via a badge/title though. By all means leave suggestions!
Thanks for that suggestion e-freak, I'll do some estimations when I have a moment and will find some way of putting it public. Hopefully when the forum revamp is underway I can get a proper donation page up which has such info and the above list on it.

I'm playing serious sam 3, or at least trying to. Probably the worst level design I've ever seen in a game, Ive gotten stuck in each level I've played.But it's fun because the core gameplay is pretty much the same as the old serious sams, but some of the new stuff they added in is very questionable design wise which almost made me give up on it (scripted sequences that take away camera control, forced slower movement on interior levels, etc)
they are just learning from the best, "call of serious duty: 3"

a) would be sweet if the player could sit at the end of the train and it would continue on it's journey, and once it reached the end of the line it'd be game over, or maybe drake could just go and do some snowboarding roflmaolol
