well MU was taken down mainly because their owners were flaunting illegality, and were stupid. the tv-streaming was stupid and they actively made money by offering tv shows hosted on their servers.
one thing about all of this that jumps out at me is how hopelessly redundant the distribution and production companies are, why aren't they offering a comparable service so people aren't forced to go to illegal services? amazon movies aren't available in europe, netflix doesn't have shit, spotify locks music based on region, all in all it's totally pathetic that they want to blame us for their shitty service and inability to understand the internet.
old men running the world. old men who don't get that thins have changed, and that they need to catch the fuck up.
yeah haha
although sopa and megaupload are unrelated i just feel they are bringing it up now to make it look like they need sopa at all
i never got a birthday thread ![]()

sweet, we can update the list to 13 now!
Quote from IzunoEh...in game character textures aren't a big deal for me but yeah I get how some people get their panties in a bunch over it.Meanwhile, i only hit lvl 10 on my bounty hunter a day ago but I have yet to group up with anyone for anything. So I would agree it's basically single player. Still, i'm not really complaining yet, though maybe cause I was gifted a copy with an extra 60 days of free play time. Once that expires, should I still be interested in playing, i'm not sure yet if i will pay to play.
yeah the only reason i played it was because we got that gift as well. luckily a few friends really wanted to play and had the game otherwise i wouldn't even have installed it.
i still have another 30 days or so and there is no way i will be renewing it. i stopped playing about 2 weeks ago once holidays were over. nothing really grabs me ya know.
age of conan just released a new dungeon and i am more tempted by that.
wouldn't it be better to use that setting when you select high quality?
SWTOR players requesting offline mode in an mmo.
to be fair it's pretty much single player right now anyway.

oh man i forgot sentura was a dane. my god it explains everythig.
let's just blame it all on hitler.
would be interesting to know which positions have suffered
everything is too straight and organised, take another look at the level that uses those assets and see how things are placed.
age of conan looks good and it's 4 years old, and it runs as well as star wars. the whole "it's an mmo" argument is not valid anymore tbh.
SW has some nice things but i dunno. it's pretty meh.

this is fucking amazing
i don't know.. i think if you play the same mmo over and over again you won't experience that initial joy. if you play a different kind of mmo then you'll get something out of it. the first mmo i pllayed was LotRO (if anyone remembers that) - i was totally against mmo's but a friend got me into it, we played a lot, enjoyed our time and i had alot of fun. but then i tried age of conan, and because it was a very different game in a lot of respects i had even more fun playing that. going into WoW i can't even be bothered to get past the first couple of levels no matter how many times i've tried. with SWtOR i feel like it's just WoW all over asgain, in so many ways, and it's got some horrible mechanics thrown in just for the sake of it. it's like a studio that never made an mmo before just copied their competition and tweaked a few things hoping that what people really wnated was more of the same; and we all know how well that worked out for Rift.
