Battlefield 1942... oh how I miss thee. Hopefully this will truly make the series shine. That gameplay video looked amazing, and not to mention those have got to be some of the best sound effects I have heard for a video game in a long time.

It's especially genius to "rent" because as soon as you buy a TV it loses like $300 value and you can easily cover a year worth of good console releases in a month. not to mention the free month of xbox live (sorry guy who bought our returned 360 )

Oh, and without spoiling too much, let's just say there were a few scenes that certainly paid homage to Half-Life 2 (think technology), and that was quite the nerdgasm for me.

You lose awareness of that theme real quickly. It's slightly prevalent in the beginning, and it's more or less alluding to the Apartheid from what I gathered, but it's very, very far from the preachy bullshit that was Crash.

There's so much originality in this film it's amazing. I haven't sat on the edge of my seat in a movie with chills running down my back and legitimate care and concern for the characters (especially an animated one at that) since... well, frankly I don't remember a film that has immersed me as well as this movie has. Film of the year, no doubt. This bitch is going to sweep the floor come award season.

Quite possibly one of the best films in the past decade. It surpassed my expectations tenfold, and my expectations were pretty damn high. I'd seriously go see it in the movie theater... don't wait until it hits DVD, you'll regret it.

Had an interesting conversation with a friend when Daylight by Matt & Kim came on, about how some songs just somehow possess the power no matter how down in the dumps you are to brighten your day. I always thought that was amazing how music of all things holds such a capacity. Coldplay is a prime example, in my opinion. If I throw on one of their albums I just can't help but be in a happy-go-lucky mood, almost childlike... I'm a grown man dancing my heart out at 4:00 in the morning for no apparent reason other than being in an awesome, cheerful mood, simply due to a song! Does anyone else have songs that do that for them?

Looks entertaining enough. Obviously not Game of the Year material, but it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously anyhow. Should be a fun grab.

Chris Metzen of Blizzard is a co-producer, so I'm sure they have a lot of say.

Am I the only one that thinks this movie is going to kick complete ass? Like... has anyone actually realized that this is the creator of the EVIL FUCKING DEAD series? I doubt Blizzard would hire a team such as this with plans at making a horrible ass movie. I guarantee they're taking every precaution in the world in insuring its nothing short of epic.

What's the language barrier like in Belgrade? How receptive were the natives to a foreigner, especially an American?

Perhaps its worth noting (for possible hostility towards me), I am of Persian descent... granted, it's not much of a problem here in the states, ironically, as most people think I'm Mexican (living in Texas). I'm assuming that most Europeans are educated enough to actually realize I'm NOT Mexican, so how would you say most people treat Middle Easterners there? The same degree of discrimination as in the states?

And I highly appreciate the wealth of information as far as destinations go. I'm definitely not too enthusiastic about going to the Balkans with its volatile situation, but in any case, keep it coming!

Fantastic trailer. My only complaint is in the audio department. I felt the weapon sounds and so forth could be improved, but beyond that, top notch quality.
