What exactly do you mean, ferret? As in, the normal map sucks, or it just wouldn't fit in anywhere? I should also mention it doesn't look good because it was my first render, and hell, it wasn't even rendered. Its a screencapture of the viewport in max, because I honestly have no idea how to render with normal maps and specular maps applied.

Normal map + specular map render in max, and shitty at that. I don't really know shit about Max... Personally, I don't like it... needs more dirt, but oh well.

I'm loving the feel of the map. Very natural and refreshing.

Not sure if I will ever finish this butsorry for the bad quality shots, I had to take them myself on my shitty PC

What are you talking about? The level in general just sucks. Its not the quality of the screenies. Excuses, excuses...
You know I'm just screwing with you Minos.
Looks great man! Love the lighting! -
Looks a bit too grungy, if you ask me. Otherwise, looks nice spacer!

More appropriate me thinks.

He didn't really work as hard as some of you guys think. Probably the hardest part he had to implement was the VGUI, and he had someone literally do that for him. So many people have contributed to Garry's Mod, that is should be named "Community Mod". He's a bit egotistcal and tyrannical if you ask me.

1 pixel = 1 centimeter
That means 100 pixels is 1 Battlefield 2 meter. And a Battlefield 2 meter is 10 max units when set to be 0,1 meters each...
Confusing?

Your best bet is importing a player model into max, and setting it up next to your models to get an accurate scale.
