If it was for Insurgency I wouldn't have released it. ![]()

That's most likely configured in the .VMT, which I have honestly yet to find. It seems to be hiding...

Taegukgi - Brotherhood of War
A group of Korean archeologists find a skeleton and identify it as Lee Jin-Seok. But Lee Jin-Seok is still alive and he is now an old man. It is his brother Jin-Tae who went missing in the Korean War. We travel from the present to 1950, when the Korean War started. Jin-Seok and Jin-Tae, Jin-Seok's brother, are young men who suddenly find themselves catapulted into a bloody world so different from their quiet, rural lives. As the war progresses, the war begins to poison Jin-Tae's mind. Jin-Seok is lost when he finds that he no longer knows who his brother is.

Basically Half-Life 2 water is generated from 29 heightmaps, 29 DUDV maps, and 29 normal maps all compiled together and seamed. My version has 32 of each, so more frames. I basically started out with the heightmap creation in Photoshop (hand painted) which took me about a week to get perfect, as it was a bitch for it to be as seamless as possible. The next step was generating the DUDV and normal maps which took patience to get right except it was a lot easier than creating the heightmaps by hand. As I stated earlier, this is NOT a HLSL shader, but due to the fact it contains a DUDV map I personally like to call it a shader.

And the seam has been fixed! Like I said earlier, one of the normal map frames was missing in the compile but all is well now.

Erm, reboot into safe mode and delete from there? That usually works.

No, but I consider it a shader since it uses a DUDV map.

Here is a comparison...

Modified the normal map and recompiled. Looks a lot better in my opinion. I'll be getting a video shortly, but in the meantime some screenshots:

So, I figured out why its so bumpy. For water, it takes a very, very subtle normal map otherwise it looks like rough seas. Also, remember that this is actually animated and it moves properly.

So a while back I made a complete set of animated water textures for Half-Life 2, but over a period of time I could never find out how to actually implement them into Source. Well, thanks to some useful tutorials I finally completed a water Shader for Source. Please remember: this is just a test so I know the water looks fugly as hell. I just wanted to see if it was actually possible to replace the water and it properly reflect the environment. The next phase is making it pretty, and then finally releasing it. Here are some images...

Precisely. There is a fine line between virtual and real. Music videos and movies are (usually) real people, unlike video games.
-
That's just the way Adam talks mike.
But personally, I think music affects people a LOT more than video games. Just look at the way rap/hip-hop has affected most of our youth, and that's enough said. -
I never knew Adam Sessler was actually so intelligent... D:
