As FrieChamp said the new lighting looks much better !
You missed to launch the game (you wanted to map) for the first time thought !
Quote from KoKo5oVaRI just wanted to add something to the thread for the people who are still wondering, Seldoon asked me about how to do the bridge in displacementsThat one :
Well i figured out a method by myself, and i've quickly made a little walktrough of it.

Hey hey ! Thanks man ! I'm looking for another method to set the arch more faster...

Quote from JeanPaulFinal question. Before I ever start a map, I always decompile the official maps created by the company that made the game so I can get some ides of technique/texture theme/ect ect. Well anyways, I noticed that ALL displacements that Valve does is created like this:[Blocked Image: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/130/untitledfa2.th.png]
What is gained by doing it that way? I mean once you create the displacement, that whole bottom part gets ignored by the engine, so why do it like this?
The other sides don't matter when its compiled. Turning it into a wedge is just a waste of time in the long run.
Quote from rockdude86played with some torus stuff and came up with the all too obvious pipes and some curvy ceiling...[Blocked Image: http://xs217.xs.to/xs217/07295/dmx_diffecto_editorshot02.JPG.xs.jpg]

Don't murder your cpu ! Convert some Brushwork in model like the pipes or other detailed part of your level.
Hell I love your work Method !
Quote from JeanPaulObviously you fucktards have no idea how much creativity and and originality can come from a remake, and this guy was copying someone elses ideas. So please dont mock me
I don't mock you poor JP ! Please stop crying when someone use the same texture as you (or your BMS' friends) in his level...
Quote from SnipaMastaJesus christ, this guy comes and says it's his first try and you're all being extremely helpful by bluntly saying it sucks. It's his first try. Quit being assholes.
Quote for true mate !
-t-lk | metal-simon, this tutorial is helpful for novice.
Keep testing.
Quote from JeanPaulTry to be original with your remakes
This is Kester's work from BM

Same exact vent, beam texture choice, billboard placement and that cart being there feels like more than a coincidence
EDIT: The vent being the same is understandable, but the rest is a little ehhhhhh
... and ? It doesn't really matter coz Kester hes suposes to work on a new version of his remake...
