sony santa monica are in a tough spot here because i have the HIGHEST POSSIBLE expectations to this title i am expecting ( demanding ) that this will be the single best game ever made by human hands. expectations couldn't be higher.

just to clarify these are my top 5 favorite games of all time:

5) resident evil 4

4) shadow of the colossus

3) god of war chains of olympus

2) god of war

1) god of war 2

so they already did it twice ... making the best game ever ( or 3 times if you count "ready at dawn" making the best handheld game ever)

until the hitler "nein" scene i thought this looks pretty good but than it just dipped too deep into the cheese

for me the link reached the trailer for the new tony scott flick which i think looks sweet ( love that guy )

i think we should use hl.wad only ! and make it a specific theme of the contest to try and make your map look as LITTLE as hl.wad as possible basically find the least over used texture in there and create a new theme from that

hmm i downloaded all those old school tools and some wads from the internet but hammer wont let me make new maps because it claims i don't have any textures available ... anybody know about this issue ?! maybe we shoudl stick with source after all even though i would have loved to really kick it old school and party like its 1998 !
