pretty good read all around i had know idea that only 3% of the games sold in the uk have a 18 + rating for example

duke was also kind of before my time ...
i played through it all the way for the first time 1 year ago and was only mildly impressed the shrink ray stuff was really imaginative and sure having strippers in a game can never be wrong ... but i think people need to calm the fuck down nuke nukem is nowhere near as good as people say

its my usual perception that who ever comes in a new needs to grind his teeth with the local tech and costumes for at least 2 years before they become PART of the production
... usual people quit before they are even out of their "training" phase in my eyes !
so i think thats bad so if a company has a lot of employee turn over they will eventually make worse and worse games and go under

if your artists are not generating enough content to keep 1 programmer busy per artist than i think your company is doing something wrong ! at ioi i would guess it to be 2 artists per programmer not counting level designers

... thinking about it and writing it down and knowing that alex proyas is a sci-fi fan himself i conclude that i really liked the movie ! -
the the aliens are a metaphor for an arbitrary unwanted human minority is pretty damn obvious. but i am sure this will work handsomely no matter how obvious.
i just wished they pixilated the aliens a bit more things tend to loose their scariness if you can see them too much

the i am legend scene looks convincing but it doesn't have "UMPFH" while the hook scenery i just find flat out boring on all counts so id pick

indeed that was pretty awesome more indiana jones/uncharted rather than call of duty wise choice ! unfortunately i feel the game will be nothing like this trailer !
