    i feel your pain hp i despise and adore kotaku at the same time !

    they do this thing perfectly right that facebook does aswell every time you f5 there is something new ! facebook just shuffles stuff around or displays stuff that was already there last time but not in your face but kotaku has always some new news post

    i recommend evil avatar they have almost as many news post as kotaku but its a lot classier !

  • South Park mid-season premiere

    i think southpark is at its strongest when it either

    1) covers real world events

    2) get insanely self referential

    3) plays devils advocate in the most offensive way possible !

    the sumemr camp episode was more of a statement than an actual episode if you ask me

    the 2 episodes before got heavily censored/pulled because they poked fun at islam/tom cruise again (the only 2 thigns where they "crossed the line" before !)and there was a statement from matt and trey afterwards where they said something like: "next week we will do something completely different."

    and than they delivered completely generic and unfunny run off the mill saturday morning bull shit !

    basically they are saying we dont have to push the envelope we can also totally sell out if thats what you want ! (knowing that we the fans dont !) so in turn upping the pressure on comedy central to let them do what ever they want !

    i just played through rainbow six vegas 1+2 in coop ! the game is fun but kleins textures really take a beating in splitscreen coop they are only loaded at like the lowest mip level D:

    this shit is more lowres than doom1 !

    yeah i heared the people behind tf cs dod codename gordon nebaculardrop/portal and alien swarm got treated really badly and didnt enjoy the experience at all ! they all regretted it afterwards ! and would never do it again !

  • Management within games industry

    i attest to everything that guy says except that middle management is pretty much safe from getting fired because they do the firing !

    at my current "dayjob" the turn over in the middle management area is huge but thats probably because the UBERBOSS still sees whats going on in the trenches and always blames the manager of a team and never the team itself ! if the boss was not in the same building or maybe not even in the same country that this shit will inevitably happen !

    the falling through lava bug or falling out of level bugs seam to have to do with blocking ! apparently if you block you dont get hurt by the fallout triggers or the lava and just continue on

    i bet if we ha a qa department we would have caught that !!!!!!!
