Alas, I'm going to have to side with Rick (sigh ) as some of these articles/questions do come across as very pretentous. Maybe its just the way its been written up but theres also times where stuff smacks of double standards, you say you don't like/understand something and therefore its not "good" yet when the whole art mod debate comes out you dont understand why people think the way they do.

Maybe i'm just turning into more of a bitter twisted designer though

Good, because its been 2.5 hours since I've got home and I cant even install.

I didn't realise sequels had to be direct clones and not deviate from the direction at all. GTA4 was still very good fun, GTA3 was very good fun but in a different way.

I think im done with the beta, 4 hours worth played and I cannot stand Metro anymore. Unlocked everything useful for my weapon of choice (870 shotgun + flechette + light = easy 1 hit kills at mid distance) and no point progressing through engineer, my usual fav.

The sole reason I switched to Sky Broadband After downloading overnight for the third time, its installed and working. Game is good, battlelog integration is utter crap. Can't change settings outside of being in a live server! Being killed takes you out of the menu's to select deploy is utterly frustrating and you cant get back till you've respawned

Hooray, I've got an estimated download time again. Shame its deleted the 4GB it downloaded and reset back to 0% to do that

So, Origin is a heap of shit.

Started downloading last night, got to 50%, left pc on overnight, came back to nothing downloaded. Started again, got to 50%, turned pc off and went to work. Came back, downloaded for 2 hours more and it gets to 100%. There it stays for an hour, until it gets to 4.7GB/3.9GB downloaded. Then it goes back to 80%, then after half an hour 60%, then after half an hour it drops down to 40%. It's now saying 44% downloaded, 1.8GB downloaded despite the fact my origin BF3 folder is 4.7GB now.

With all of Steam's issues, at least it downloads and tells me an appropriate amount of time remaining. Origin says 0 mins to go.
