"We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game,""We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. We thank all of our customers for their support and patience."

About sodding time, took them over a month to say anything about the massive flaw in GH3 only playing the sound in...mono. Even has the Dolby PL2 logo splattered everywhere.
Massive 900+ thread on the GH3 forums most certainly helped this, had contact info for everyone to complain, even the CEO's office phone number

Dolby actually responded before Activision did anything!
Now we just have to wait till "early 2008" for it

Random update, nothing had happened for a week and a half then this weekend over 30 cars have their windows smashed:

Then last night:

Sounds like the right age for the guy I saw smashing the ones in our street so perhaps the Plod got him as the seventh arrest over all this.

Sonic was a great game...in 1991

I've had to redo this, so I've got a new mini questionnaire. Its six questions long and dead simple.
Its still only for people in the industry though i'm afraid. If you have 5 spare minutes please email me/PM me here and I'll send you it.

+1 for XSI.
Everything is just...there. Easy to model, easy to animate, easy to render and has a built in compositor.

A BOY of 12 and a 14-year-old youth have been arrested following a spate of vandal attacks on cars in Carlisle. The wrecking spree, over two weeks, left a trail of destruction in the St Aidan’s area between London Road and Warwick Road.
Another 14 vehicles were damaged around 6pm yesterday.
Five cars in Petteril Street, three in Rydal Street and six in South View Terrace had windscreens or side windows smashed with a hammer.
Police say the bill for the damage is likely to run into many hundreds of pounds.
The two youngsters, both from Carlisle, were arrested in connection with the damage in Petteril Street.
But they have been questioned about the attacks in Rydal Street and South View Terrace and earlier incidents involving 27 vehicles.
Seven vehicles had windows smashed on Garden Street and South View Terrace on Thursday night.
Sixteen cars had windows broken in Oswald Street and London Road Terrace on Tuesday night.
And those attacks followed reports of similar damage to a car last Saturday and three on the night of Wednesday, November 7. All the incidents were near London Road.
The youngsters have been released on police bail until December 10.

Sure as hell didnt look like a 12/14yr old boy that went down our street, combined with the different time makes me wonder about random chav copycat.
4 nights of doing it all at 6:00-6:30am then a gap of a day then one randomly at 6pm?

Doesn't blend well at all as both sections are in focus. One needs to be blurred for the mind to make it work better.

Statement filled in, 3 pages worth.
Also noted down the exceedingly minor chip on my window as "criminal damage" so if the guy gets caught, I get compensation and also a trip to court possibly as a witness.

Last night I was awoken from my slumber at 6am by the sound of glass breaking. Normally I'd assume this was some drunken lout throwing beer bottles around but this sound was different. It was then proceeded by the sound of some metal object smacking into glass once every second or so.
I get up and look out my window to see a man on a bike, hammer in hand, working his way down our street trying to break every cars rear windscreen. He got 4 out of the 15 or so. I presume due to the way are cars were angle at and the chip on my rear windscreen most of his blows glanced off. He then pegged it.
Then the rozzers turned up and myself and a few others had a chat in the street and it appears it is some serial guy doing this all over Carlisle. I'm the first guy apparantly to see the guy in the act.

Looks good, but need to clean your sensor, the dust is distracting in all the photos.

I've completly ignored this game so have no idea what its about but from the screenshots it looks like a prince of persia game set in Robin Hood times with phong and bump mapping.
