Below degree education definatly isnt that important, but its always good to have it there. Having a degree shows you have many abilities and qualities from day 1 that you don't need to be taught or can be proven in an interview such as the ability to work with others. The vast majority of degree's here require a few modules of work where you work in groups on projects or with other courses.

Its not required for some areas of the games industry but it certainly helps your application go to the top of the pile before the interview. Some areas such as programmers definately require a relevant degree more often than not and if you're planning to work abroad it can also be key to getting visas and what not.

What did the guy who sold you the 10D say his reason for selling it so cheap was? Could be an actual problem with the sensor as well as too higher ISO. I didn't think resizing it with the wrong algorithm would compound the noise issues much.

    Looks good.

You should also have some oils pans on the floor for collecting...oil. As well as a few 55G oil drums and that stuff used to soak up oil in garages, like small gravel stuff. Perhaps a few oxyacetylene tanks for welding stuff.

Would add a nice touch I think.

The British army can take anyone and turn them into trained killers, its their job to do so. You follow the orders and do what you're told else you die. Simple as. If you don't follow the rules or don't want to you get thrown out. Once the rounds start flying, emotion/morals goes out the window and adrenaline and training takes over.

My day so far has been good, woke up with GF as usual and lazed around for a bit, went to tesco for some supplies but now I have to do Uni work.

Its also one of those games absolutely anyone can play and anyone can win. If some mates come over we can all gather round the Wii and play MK64 or Double Dash and despite me having a bit more knowledge of the tracks they can win with gratuitious use of power ups, its a universal game.

I don't think Double Dash actually innovated or changed much, sure you could have two people on one cart...but who ever used that? Everyone just plays by themself with a CPU vs their mates and CPU's.

I think what makes it look a bit odd in places is the sheer compactness of the buildings, they're everywhere. Most maps seem to have some dead space in them where its an open area fenced off to give a better sense of the surroundings. Also is the Blu side going to be any different (more than texture) to the Red side? Would be nice to seem some unique looking buildings rather than the same as Red simply retextured.

    It still looks good though

Woke up with massive stabbing chest pain, went away after a few codeine tablets. Doctors tommorow for me I think! Went in for lecture/work session at Uni and ended up leaving at half six. Had some dinner and went to give GF a lift home from her lesson when it finished. Attempted to do some more animation and thought it was about 9pm, is actually 11:10pm and have done no animation.

I'm not sure this is true, is this your experience? While I’ve only had two interviews (but got them both, woo!), none of them really cared for my education at all.

Well these days you're not allowed to ask people their age because you can't discriminate against older people so having certain education proves you are at least 16 (GCSE) or 18 (A-Levels) or 21 (Degree) as nowhere I'd imagine would hire a 16 year old as you'd have to be 18 minimum.

Edit: Also proves you're not a retard and can actually pass stuff.

Any period pics of that building anyway?
