Is the whole background one texture?
Why not split the texture up in PS and have multiple brushes so the scaling is less apparant and you can get more detail in?

Ugh, if they have 'momentum' in it...well...thats just going to be annoying. The ability to stop when I want, not 10 paces later over the buildings edge is something I prefer not to have in my games.
Its going to be a real fine balance between super annoying and something new, perhaps why nobody has added this so far to any FPS.
I suspect accidental Hammer control usage may have caused this. Or XSI controls.

So i'm tinkering with UnrealEd watch the videos and I've got to the point of adding static meshes, have selected a mesh in the brower, right click on a surface, add actor, Add Static Mesg and it doesnt show up. Its just the XYZ axis thing, no mesh. The video tutorial says the mesh should be showing.
What the funk?
Edit: Ah....."W" hides/unhides meshes.
Unreal Tournament III Limited Edition.
Time to start learning UnrealEd with the 20hrs of video tutorials.
Looks awesome, only thing that stands out to me is in the 4th shot the background rock repeats a bit obviously. Perhaps a tree or something to break it up.
VAT is 17.5% here, not 22% as well.
Minimum wage is like I said a tad over £5 and most menial jobs are that e.g. petrol station/supermarket/fast food/pub basic jobs. Most students fall over themselves to get a job with an amazing £5/hr rate.
Presuming Denmark, find it hard to believe people pay 95 Kroner an hour for petrol station employees. Here its minimum wage (£5 something)
Oh and theres some law for manual labour so we pay less tax (or no tax...) or something. Most of the time its cash in hand anyway.
The pay is certainly the best part, when I started I was 16 and got £4.50 an hour
Must be close to £10 an hour when I go back this summer.
Quote from WitchKingHe's absolutely right in what he implies here.
Agreed.
People pirate crysis like no other because nobody wants to buy a game they can't run well. Its reputation of high requirements has put the majority of people off, nobody likes spending £40 on a game to play on their one year old system and have to play it at 1024*768 and on lowest settings.
Not game industry related but I pushed myself at work so hard one week I physically couldnt walk and move for the next 4 days afterwards.
I'm a landscape gardener over the holidays, basically a garden maintenance and builder job. We had a job for some extremely rich people to do a "patio" area. This patio turned out to be well over 100 square meters of slabs, at the bottom of his garden next to his triple garage containing two SLK's and a 911 Turbo. He also wanted it in a weird shape and out of extortionatly expensive slabs (ones we normally use are 60p-£1 each, standard moulded slabs. His ones were £7 each). It took three of us 5 days of 7am-8pm to do it. I ended up pretty much making concrete by hand (couldnt get lorry down there so cement mixer and shovel at top of garden and wheelbarrow it down) and god knows how much I made. Usually I can do about 4 tonnes of it by hand a day but I mustve been pushing 6 those three days along with another guy part time doing the same.
Long story short, he got his patio, we all couldnt do work the next week and enjoyed the nearly 6 figure sum to do it.

I have neither, I doubt I'll get a Xbox at its current worrying rate of RROD's in them. PS3 is just a paperweight in my eyes, don't like any of the games out or upcoming (MGS series I never found interesting) and seeing as I don't have a HDTV or any desire for BluRay its useless to me.
My Wii keeps me and my mates entertained enough and PC takes care of the rest.
He also played Zelda:TP pretty much nonstop for 2.5 days and completed it. 45hrs of gaming in 60 hours....
My housemate went out at midnight to get it, came back at 1am and has been playing it non stop. It is now 6:15pm....
Yeah, it seems most UK stores got them in last week. I know the Gamestation in Carlisle does because I saw them putting them in the stock room
I'm pretty sure everyone who worked there took a copy home.
Plenty of people at Uni who ordered them off various sites online had them shipped on Thursday and depending on the post got them on Friday/Saturday or not at all. Seems to be luck.
A lot of UK preorders were sent out on Thursday.
Sector-Effector lives \o/
Heutau was still the best dod map in my eyes.
Needs a PC release data asap.
