Climbing indoors twice a week for 4-8 hours kept my stamina up, need to build up to around 30 mins a day on my home wall to keep it up I reckon.

Mainly minor map props such as windows, streetlights, debris etc with the odd major model thrown in like a tank.

There's a Cromwell poking around in some of the maps, Churchill hasn't been modelled but would expect it to get done sooner or later. More pressing prop models needed at the moment like some finished Horsa gliders!

Q: Where does the name “Ham and Jam” come from?A: Cool name isn’t it? Truth is, we sat for ages to try and think of something that wasn’t something grandios such as “Valiant Victorious Freedom of Brothers in Togetherness”. We wanted something short, simple and memorable.

One of the first missions we decided to do for the mod was Operation Deadstick, the British gliderborne assault of the Orne and Caen canal bridges, more commonly known as “Pegasus Bridge”. During the real operation the Commander was issued with two code words to be radioed back to England to report the outcome. The capture of the Caen canal bridge (Pegasus) was codenamed “Ham” and the Orne canal bridge (Horsa) was codenamed “Jam”. When both bridges were captured the message was sent back to England - “Ham and Jam”.

Ham and Jam is a teamplay orientated, first person WW2 multiplayer game centred around the British and Commonwealth campaigns from 1939-45. Historically accurate missions coupled with careful balance between realistic and enjoyable gameplay makes Ham and Jam a unique experience. It's not just another run of the mill ww2 game, visit the site for more info:

We are looking for experience Source engine programmers to help out the existing coding team and share the load. We currently have 2 coders who can only manage part time work on the mod so we are looking for an extra person to help fill the gaps. 95% of the core features have been implemented, only one remains. We require someone who is willing to spend time polishing existing gameplay as well as adding exciting new features and applications to existing content.

Applicants should have worked on a previous mod or have experience with the Source engine.

If you feel up to the task, e-mail:

We are looking for some guys who can do our voice commands, simple stuff like Go Go Go! We have about 20 phrases at the moment with more to come. Ideally you must sound fairly manly (no 16 year old squeaky kids please) and have a fairly decent mic set up. We don't want to have road noise in the background or you whispering because you parents are asleep next door. Full on shouting of orders!

    Languages/Accents needed currently:

    - Canadian

    - Polish (ability to understand English important for correct translation)

    - German (Have 3/4 of set done, but existing person may be unable to do rest)

If you feel up to the task, e-mail:

CVSDude is who we use for our Ham and Jam SVN. They gave us a package for free in return for some small images on our site, when we needed a bigger package we paid the price they advertised and they virtually upgraded us to the next one up.

Usual work day today, up at 6:45am, at work 7:30am, gardening jobs all day, back at 5pm. Had a quick bath to wash the grime off, had dinner and now sitting down to go through all the problems that have come up today in the Ham and Jam closed beta.

Needed a new camo jacket for going out shooting and general outdoor wear. Picked it up in an Army Surplus store, excellent quality for issued kit. Still 100% waterproof, little wear and amazingly warm and comfy for Army kit.

Needed some new boots for work so got them at the same time, not Army kit but more of a clone as I didn't want to spend £50 on a pair of boots that are gonna get trashed.

Topware Interactive has won more than £16,000 following legal action against the woman who shared a copy of Dream Pinball 3D.

Damage awards from cases against three other suspected sharers of the game are also pending.

The test cases could kick off thousands more against other Britons suspected of sharing the same title online.

I once tripped over a USB lead going into the front of my PC, luckily my Camera was on the floor so it didnt go flying but it yanked the cable out of the PC, bent a pin creating a short which then fried the internal USB card and then the mobo.

    Could be what happened.

Going good so far, woke up and went off out to the garage to finish the construction of my training climbing wall. All the base construction and woodwork is done, just need the last two frame brackets mounted onto the wall and a few boards a second coat of paint and then its hold fixing time.

whoever had the idea of putting water resistant leather on sneakers is my new demigod.

    Leather is water-resistant anyway....

Just need to keep proofing it to keep up the waterproof ability like all leather shoes.
