Which Viera is that Thrik? We've got the 42" with FreeSat at Home here and its awesome, we also have the exact same stand 
The Wii looks well good on it with component cables.

LBP planet will never break into the "mums" buying lists due to the fact they'd have to buy their precious ones a PS3 first, so that's an extra £3-400 first. Nintendo have that area of the market sealed up tighter than a badgers nadsack with the Wii being so cheap and heavily marketed.

Just starting a little SP "demo" mod. Trying to get my modelling skills into it as well, set around a mining complex. More of a puzzler/adventure than a shooter hopefully.
Crystals definitely need a better skin to start with. Want to flesh it out with some more stuff too. Thats the entrance lift shaft at the back where you enter the level.

Much harder than it looks, start on the front sheer face, do a short jump to jump and jam your fingers in the diagonal crack. Pull up and slap around the right hand edge, hook ankle over and lay back hand over hand all the way up. Whip round onto face when you run out of edge at the top!

Know someone with a USB mic? Would narrow down whether its the ports of the PC.

My onboard sound seems better than my Audigy2 card from years ago. Certainly less hassle with being able to avoid the Creative Drivers page.

Do you have front mic/headphone ports on your case as well as back. I've know quite a few peoples front ports not work or not even be connected. Worth checking.

Got my Dad a new mobile phone as his one is a brick and has a battery life seemingly lasting minutes rather than days. My Mums getting a camera case and SD card to go with her IXUS 80 that my Dad is getting her. My girlfriend is getting a new rucksack for all our climbing/hiking exploits as hers is archaic and hurts her, a 28L female version of this one:

Quite a few pennies went on that and in return I get a new rucksack from her so stop my back breaking too! Plus a few little presents for her parents and sister as I know they're getting me something and I don't want to be a complete twunt and not give anything back.

Must be a bitch doing FISH with those long rifles. FISH being Fighting In Someone's House as the British Army like to call it. Bullpup style weapons are definitely an advantage indoors.

To be honest I've noticed a hell of a lot more adverts for games in the Cinema these days. If you go to a Vue cinema expect to go through about 5 games adverts before the trailers start.
