Moderator (or silencer for you gangster folk) is for my other rifle, a Ruger 10/22 for some serious rabbit bashing outside. Bolt action is more for target competitions.
If you want to make money on the side, then steer clear of the games industry surely? If you're complaining that you don't get as much as you want from being a paid employee of a large studio, then surely doing it for fun on the side will never touch the salary.
Fix computers for £30-50 a pop, there's always dumb people downloading stuff and breaking their computers. Undercut the nearest store such as PC World here in the UK by a bit to make it tempting.
Vaguely related, I wondered why I saw a bunch of Grim Fandago copies in Game the other week, I thought I might pick it up, except they were charging £14.99 for it 
We had a similar situation albeit with a different product, being poor people creating Ham and Jam and having spent months looking for someone to lend us a SVN server we were out of luck and rapidly running out of space on the graciously donated server by cvsdude.com
They said they'd happily give us the next level of service/server package but we'd have to pay for it. We were also due to renew our vBulletin licence as well as domain names. We spent a while trying to think of ways to pay for all this (probably about £150+) from splitting it between the team (£20 each or so) which we knew would be hard to sell, to having adverts which would be hard to stomach and then we just decided to have a donate button just to see if it worked. We expected nothing from it.
By pure chance/luck it turned out the devoted forum members we had were really devoted and we raised that money in about a week, we paid the bills and we've almost got enough for next years ones too. We also said come the time when there's nothing to spend it on, we'd donate it to WW2 Veterans charities too.

Ouch. Never heard of anything like that over here though, perhaps they're trying to rip off the foreigners UK prices for University are apparantly set by each University, but the Government says they can only charge up to £3145 a year. So every Uni I know of charges that. Plus you need somewhere around £2k-£5k a year in living costs such as rent/food/bills/beer etc.
Technically the Government paid it all, I just loaned the money off them. Only have to pay it back once I start earning over £15k p.a and then they take whatever percentage I decide from my wage - £15k.

Yeah ultimately, want to get HaJ done first and a small side project just to have something recent done. Although with the way the games industry is going at the moment it sort of fits in with not really looking for a LD job till second half of next year.

I dunno, just when I was kicking around Llanberis and the like it felt really unwelcoming being English, let alone foreign. Everyone just looked at you because you weren't speaking Welsh and then muttered to themselves in Welsh. The countryside is nice though and provided you can read the signs quick enough fairly easy to get around (hate how the languages swap around on the signs...Welsh first, no English first, no Welsh!)
My last deadline was June 6th 2008, I then had to wait till November 25th for my Graduation ceremony, my student loan statement came the next day saying I owe them £14,800 pounds and today my actual certificate arrived at last.

Everyone else just ignores it.
Anyway, the UK is great. Places like Dux posted can be found throughout the UK, Wales would probably be slightly unnerving to a newcomer, especially the further you get away from the border. Scotland is nice but as soon as you go higher than Glasgow/Edinburgh its a million miles to anything remotely civilised. Englands pretty compact and an hour on the bus can make a whole world of difference.
Ah, ours is the 42PZ81B so its the same afaik just yours doesnt have Freesat built in which is about £400 more lol. The quality of it is amazing though, puts standard Sky to shame.
Awesome none the less.
