For one thing, it's appaling in a Star Wars game to find the controls for the blaster are better than those for the light saber.

The controls on the PC are absolutely terrible, but it plays ok on the PS2. The replay value for me was inexistant, but that's just cause I generally can't care to play the same levels over and over just to take all the stupid tokens...

But for a one time "let's replay the trilogy" gig, it's fun and the best part of it all is how LucasArts allowed the game to make fun of the original movies.

Here's where you can have an introduction to the team behind the game, many of which already were on BG&E and King Kong:

Another reason not to support Sony in any way shape or form. And having just finished God of War again, I just wish they'd stick to game development now....

I really think it's completely unfeasible with our current Source engine. I expect huge enhancements to the engine with Episode II.

Two examples: 1) The combine dropships escaping City 17 are NOT in a 3d Skybox, yet look at how far away they really are. 2) The seemingly simple strider blow to the barn, that makes it literally explode in 100 pieces. If you really want to accomplish that today, your frame rate will also explode at the moment of impact. Valve have always taken into consideration the lower end users, just remember how well HL2 ran on modest comps back in 2004. Following that same logic, I expect some enhancements.

Plus, the official trailer showed something that looked very very much like models morphing (bridge destruction, Alyx falling). That'd be another new thing.

Actually I heard at work they just announced a 200 USD package with Ninety Nine Nights in Japan....time to take advantage of the very low number of PS3 units expected for Japan (100,000 against 400,000 for the US)

Sony should be as ashamed as it is laughable. They're riding on the wave of success the PS1 (warranted) and PS2 (mostly unwarranted) brought them, and the result is they're a joke.

I can't wait to see the numbers of preorders cancelled for this xmas, and the big smiles on Nintendo and Microsoft's faces.
