    Something like this?

    http://www.vigilgames.com/dmo

I'm looking forward to this, but its an mmo, and I would love to just see many games skinned over top of BC2. The gameplay/destruction is perfect for so many themes. Warhammer would just be perfect in medium to small sized maps like BC2 has. Plus I highly doubt anyone other than dice could have such a good engine to use for it :/

why are you trying to convince others of your opinion? can't you just leave it at that?

Clearly the only one here trying convince others of their opinion is you, no? Think about it now, maybe read back a few pages of comments.

I hate CG trailers, why pass up the opportunity?Stuff that serves as purely a marketing tool isn't very interesting. If I can't get anything remotely real out of it it's just not worth investing in it.

Gah, then if u hate CG trailers, stop being a hypocrite and saying you liked Deus EX, Dawn of War trailers, and not comment at all. I mean come on friend, your an awesome dude!

It's obviously put together well but it ain't no Dawn of War Blur intro or the recent Deus Ex trailer. It's rare I let CG get the better of me.

I thought it was just as good as both of those in its own way. Why compare Most of the game trailers this year have been epic.

The trailer takes an easy shot without telling you anything about the game. I thought it was balls too.

But it's a trailer so who cares.

Your like the only Canadian who didn't like it [Blocked Image: https://migrationtest.mapcore.org/public/style_emoticons/default/mapcore_smilies/emot_shakehead.gif] It was no where near balls though. Well, big ass hairy awesome balls, it was! But no shitty little tiny balls, no!

P.S. And BTW, you guys are really overthinking the trailer. It was awesome, majority rules, GTFO, lets talk about something else!

The people who are so invested in a game series that they go on the internet to complain about the colour palette of the latest iteration are precisely the ones who pick up the title in stores on day one (if only to complain some more afterwards).

But wait, there will be 2x that amount who are not into the game series and pick it up day one because they are new to the series.

If I wasn't clear about it, what I meant is that it seems like its kinda lost the few things that made it stand out from Borderlands, and now it really does look exactly the same.

I am aware that they're both basically the same in theme

Its just the dirt and the tone of colors that is similar. The second half of the trailer looks nothing like Borderlands. Maybe lower rez characters and textures then it used to me?

Is this Dead Space's tropical cousin?

Mino, this was in development way way before Dead Space.

that is one of the best zombie trailers I have ever seen. The emotion captured in it was so well done

It's a very valid point. I tried to play all the levels from the last contest before I placed my votes but I'd wager I was the only one who did, and I don't blame anyone for that as it's a helluva big task to undertake and eats up a lot of time. Even if they're all in one engine/game it's a big ask if we get another 19 or so entries, though admittedly a few more people would probably be inclined to do it.I think it comes down to more than *just* judging on looks and art though. You can get a fairly strong first impression of how a level plays from just a few screenshots, provided they are decently representative of the level itself. Especially when we're talking about a limited space like 1024^3. It isn't perfect, and of course you can tell much more by seeing it in game, but I think most of us will form fairly well judged opinions about a level's gameplay just by casting our eyes over some pictures. Or at least be able to spot a killbox, a boringly linear map, or a hopeless maze out from a more..."considered", layout

Short of having a dedicated judging panel as Vilham says it's an unlikely scenario that people will play everything. I think we just have to accept that people will be voting somewhat blind and try to account for it. Video capture is pretty commonplace these days - maybe encouraging videos as part of the submissions isn't such an unrealistic ask and would help people to place more educated votes?

Upload quick video of the map being played maybe? Might work best for the Door Puzzle challenge I suppose.

Reading Chris and e-freak looks like "Crytek get not leaked but raped!" (Now I'm coarse...)

Well its probably because they put alot of time and effort into making it... And then having this happens after all the time spent is like getting punched in the face from behind, and never knowing who did it.

Its refreshing that our politicians listened and the UBB implementation date will be suspended indefinitely. Minister Clement also added they would overturn the review

should it resemble in any way to the previous outcome!

Because of the success, Teksavvy have reinstated their unlimited packages and added an additional 100 gb to all packages.

Well, to put it succinctly: gamers got bored of WW2. Can you blame them? However the style of gameplay lives on in Call of Duty and Battlefield. I do miss DoD's unique flavour, but Battlefield delivers similar on a larger scale. CoD has too much emphasis on deathmatch for me.

Call of Duty has random spawn drop. I dont think its similar to DOD in that case.. I would love to see DOD's push gameplay brought to another game.
