Awful

I finished it last night, enjoyed it overall. Story was funny as hell and not hard to understand. Not sure what you guys are talking about above; its a comedy with violence, nothing more. The end was a bit too lord of the rings, but to my disappointment, was that huge H ship/moon base, whatever it was, is never accessible. You never get to go there.
Hope that lowers your expectations a little.Playing through on hardmode now

wow, totally reminds me of all the fantasy movies I/we grew up with from the 80's.

What about the interface? Are the quests more entertaining? If you finished an area or a boss, do they still respawn every time you visit that area again?
Interface is good to me, I dont remeber BL1's tbh. Its doesn't feel like a shitty port. Selecting weapons from inventory is a bit odd but easy enough. Phyx system is fun. Enemies are far more dynamic.
So far, most areas, depending on the quest your on, the enemies/Boss's still respawn, but its meant for grinding unlockables/gear. I donno, it never bothed me before, its kinda like saying the same thing about Diablo games for example.

At least they could've made the suit "silver-ish" on parts similar to the original. Would look so much better.
Someone did a mock up version and it does at least look one step better.

I never really got into the first game, maybe because the lack of character customization and the desert pallet, I dunno. Borderlands 2 however is friggin awesome, hilariously dark, and the pallet is much more interesting this time around. I'm really impressed by it so far!

Regarding the gnome above, here is a whole stock pile I just found.

I haven't even gotten to the test chamber yet and I absolutely love it! The amount of work put into it so far is more than I expected. Brings back so many memories!

Then I don't know why you're talking about the PC, there's not a lot of benefit to porting to a non-console other than graphics because controls for such a game are horrendous without a joypad. I remember trying to play Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the PC with keyboard, it was like trying to find a black kitten in a pitch dark room whilst blindfolded...
Naughty Dog are Sony developers, they wont ever make anything for non-PS tech.
There are many factors, and let it go, its an opinion.
Btw you can play games with gamepads from your pc onto your hdtv.

Dark: Have you seen Uncharted 2/3 running at 1080P on the PS3? They're absolutely stunning and to be honest, there isn't an awful lot more you could get out of it to look that much better on PC or otherwise imho..
wow ROFL, I'm not even talking about graphics. And just to point out, of course all NG games look good.

Whatever HP, it's sn opinion. Tell your spiel to someone who cares.

":jyciljr9]Those are definitely MPG and JPG artifacts dude, a trained eye can see those shots are screencaps from a video because of the JPG-like compression and color banding. It's obvious the PS3 doesn't have the raw power a PC has, but naughty Dog uses tillable textures on the majority of their stuff, everything looks super sharp when you actually play the game. (Talking about U2 and U3 here, which is the same engine as last of us) but here's a shot which appears to be directly from the engine: (720p with edge AA)

Sharp enough?
If that's the case, why release shitty screens like that? I figured something was a miss. I can now defiantly see how compression would cause that. And the shot above, defiantly better, but its still sad Naughty Dog is subdued by PS3 exclusivity. I have the same problem with the Kill-zone games. They would make such great PC games.

No spoilers, just shows off that no two play-throughs will be the same. All this footage will do is make you happy you already own a PS3.
Hell yeah! PS3 owns!
AI is very impressive! Its just sad good games like this can't shine on PC. The textures are muddy because of the PS3.
