meant to have 2500 polies with entire body and two of the wheels. I think everything altogether is something like 3350 or round about. I thought about the cage but I'm gonna pass on it for now.
It's gonna be for personal use or if anyone else wants to use it.

I can't speak for the engine as a whole, but in Gears of War the levels load ridiculously fast for how good they look, and it makes playing the game much more addicting.
yeah it does load rather quickly but I'm not a fan of the LODs in GoW, too often I see the switch rather blatantly in front of me. (I dont own it I was playin on vivi's)
Its a great game though..

very fitting mino

ahh thats really nice. Like toys lookin at toys lookin at toys etc etc. I like how the peoples hats are like globes themselves.

excellent

Heres a stryker tank I just finished. And just so this isnt asked, the purple, pink thing is the thermal vision scope for the driver and commander. That'd be about the only thing I could think to change atm... and bothered with to change

thats why its under "professional"
I'd apply if I thought I was good enough. I dont think I could compare to the likes of mr. KFS or many others... least on a mapping standpoint.

I LOVE the B&W 2nd shot.
very lovely

very nice!
is it me or does it look like the heads are too big on the one in the middle and the one with the beret?

yeah, not everyone wants to use the latest spiffy new engine with all sorts of bells an whistles. Theres nothing that says when a new engine comes out you have a grace period of time where you need to move on.
Keep up the nice work Quakis

lol still looking really amazing teddy. Cant wait to test it out for myself

yes in instances like that you need either additional brushwork or overlays/decals. But I think you got it on lockdown r_yell.

I see what you're sayin about the height, I see in one of teddy's images a small building with pretty sharp shadows... I'll see if I can find a picture of larger buildings.
*edit* lol I found one of your pics r_yell, look at the building shadows in this pic http://server5.pictiger.com/img/389968/ ... re-318.php
so yeah I think you got some room to push that lightmap number down

that some seriously awesome stuff.

Believe me when I say 32 is more adecuate, 16 is starting to look like sharp at the edges, and thats looks very unrealistic in outdoors.
I would say maybe depending on time of day, very blurred shadows arent terribly realistic either.
Quote... do you think contrast should be higher between them?
yes
