germany will kick italians ass and pwn france in the final match!

1 unit == 1 unit. there is no dimension on units. neither in hammer nor max
64 units are always 64 units. it doesnt matter if you are in max, maya, milkshape, unreal, source or hammer.

Thanks for the replies, but the grass texture and the ivy texture are both hessie's. They are just place holders, but then again they are kinda what I was going for, I plan on making the replacements today.
Oh, and this is just a complete test map, nothing here is final, I need a layout.
i was just about to flame y0
i cant remember allwoing you to use my stuff. btw. those trees and bushes are from me too (de_mediterrano) but you can use those two models if you want.i dont like the windows you just threw over my de_corse wall texture. they look just inset. there is nothing that creates a _connection_ to the wall in the background. maybe add an overlay with dirt around the window.

csharp those cloud rendered stone materials usually blow :X work with photos please. using such rendering textures it is realy annoying to see that your structure of the stone isn't in a context to its neighbors. that means: i can see that you just overlayed some colors and shadows. the structure is simply a tiling texture where borderes between stone parts are losing themself due to these blendet structures.
take these references as a free gift to retry with a good photo as reference

-hessi for the cool photo dvds

it's just great to see all those images on other peoples maps!
i will never have the time to use all my photos(which means like 15GB right now) on mapprojects.
i love the small house on the left of the fountain in the first image but please give the roof a blue color. windows are just great. i know which image you took 'em from

btw: i will enlarge my photocollection this summer with more french city/village photos
this year i can spend more time in saints/angouleme, France which are both really great cities to take reference photos. maybe i could get more church images... anyone got tips on how to make photos in really dark areas like churches without using a flash? i got a eos 300 and iso1600 mode allows me to be really sensitive on light but its not enough. maybe a trick on keeping a camera still without additional stuff could be helpfull. -
the point is: i dont know this fag. he requests models of de_corse. Why the hell he sends me porn then? there is no relation between maps and porn.
his behaviour is just so stupid.
maybe you dont get it because when you meet someone for the first time you show him some naked girls???!

-
i just got this email. please pay attention to the email message and its attachment. my thought: WTF
MOD EDIT: Thanks we get the point...nsfw...but really don't need that here either. They guy is clearly an idiot for sending that to you. Link removed Happy posting.
ps: feel free to laugh at this fool. i mean: how stupid can someone be?
like "oh hey i want to join your company. here is some porn for your employees!"
