    antisemitism is the moderm naming of hostility (or racism) against jews. in the past, jews have always been persecueted, going about 2000 years back. i dare to believe this must have been the first global form of racism and since it was targeted to a semitic race, it was called antisemtism.

    just so to clarify; although arabs can be counted as semites too, antisemitism covers only racism against jews, not arabs.

    its also a phenomena that just doesnt seem to leave. its always been there and even more worrying; its growing again.

    as far as the halle berry joke. that was an innoncent joke but she made it on tv and thats way more sensitive then to make it to your friends. if she made a negro joke she would be burned for it aswel. has nothing to do wich minority she might offended.

    no, i dont approve of that. and i dont think comparing those two circumcisions with eachother is fair either. look, the circumcision of woman is a barbaric muslim custom. its dangerous and it shows the disrespect for women. the reason behind this gruesome act is so that the woman may have no pleasure while having sex so that she won't be tempted to sleep with another partner. i am possibly even more horrified by this phenomena then you.. (have you read books by Waris Dirie? these explain in painful detail the barbarisms she had to undergo in relation to this topic).

    im sorry you cant seem to live with it. seeing this already forms such a big problem for you, i hope you see to live with all other small anoyances hat are not logicly explainable.. altho, seeing how much circumcised people DONT have any problem with it, i dont quite get your point..? i dont feel abused or something so why dont you fight for something the victims actually think it's worth your energy?

    i seriously dont understand all the sudden hate against people who decide to circumcise their boys.. ffs let it go.. also, there's a thin line with being against circumcision and offending circumcised people's parents. why not respect it? if you feel like bettering the world so much, why not spend your energy on taking care of poverty? :S

    tbh i think theres less then few people who feel bad about their parents making the desicion to circumcise them at birth. why do we turn this in to such a huge problem? its tradition, precaution (regardless your opinion about it, doctors still advice circumcision) and maybe even a social standard but wtf?

    i sure dont miss that piece of skin

    im not defending anything here (since most uncircumcised people here seem to have issues with it) but in the past people where known to be less hygenic. nowadays we know its good to keep ourselves clean and we have the facilities but back in the day people didnt. so.. my point being that it also might have been some practical precaution?

    interesting thread. it is true that its easier to clean, wich does certainly not imply circumcised people are too lazy to clean their dicks, or dont spend as much time doing that. its just that theres less filth involved in the time youre not cleaning your dick since theres no extra skin (and cavity).

    im circumcised for religious reasons since my father was jewish and I think people should respect that. im glad i am anyway.

    the girls ive been with also said theyd rather have circumcised dicks since they thaught it was cleaner, nicer to look at and less smelly.. there was no exception and I live in europe. so, i dont really give a shit what you guys think, its what the girls think that matters to me. regardless if theyre right or not or whats scientifically proven
