pretty fascinating demonstration is shown on the youtube video
and there is a download available of the prototype, wich is free and youll be able to play with your mouse. apart from the apparent bugs and shapelimitations i find it quite relaxing tbh

Quote from QuakisIf its not too late already, I had the same issue. Just add "-engine ep1" to the launch options and it should load up. Unless ofcourse you've got it working already.
well.. its too late for me but thanks anyway!
great valve! now the sdk wont start anymore..
GG
well.. yeah.
everything you see around you changes the way you look at things from the day you are born. of course, this is a relatively loose statement but yeah.. think about mtv and what people listen these days. think about movies and their standard hero's and badguys. the tv helps setting alot of social standards (what we think is cool music, what we wear and how we look at certain things) and since lots of people watch alot of tv, i think its safe to say television takes a good share in influencing our behavior.
succes with your assignment
i'm surprised so little people named the responsibillity of the parents? i agree with most of the stuff said but i also think the parents pretty much failed in this case. how could they not see this? how could they have seen their own son fall into depression and isolation and NOT give a shit or do anything about it? how could they have let this happen??
i have friends where the elders pretty much lost all contact with just because -and yes, its tragic- they simply do not care enough for their children. for them, kids are only a burden. and i see this happen alot more these days..
i think if a kid misses the warmth of a save and loving home, shit's eventually going to hit the fan pretty hard, especially in cases where the kid has an instable personallity..
there's one thing i didnt agree on though.. i dont think this boy was insane.. sick maybe, but insanity or losing touch wich reality is something i didnt quite see in this whole thing. he knew exactly what was going on and chose his place in this whole.. whatver twisted place that was.
tbh.. i love it.
red smoke doesnt bother me but if theres something that could need a little improvement im thinking of a subtle fog..
anyway, GJ!

The page has collected some of the info on the guy.
read the manifesto and be awed.. this guy was so full of hate that he must have been too blinded by it to see his own arguements not making any sense. tragic another guy gave in on hate and ruined alot of lives including his own
that looks fu*king ace!
yup.. but i think it might be my drivers. havent updated them in a while so i might do that tonight
