just bought bf: bad company 2 to find out steam actually will not register most of the retail gamekeys. im growing tired of the restrictions steam has over its consumers because of the monopoly they have on the game market. some competition on the field of online gaming / gamesale would do the average game consumer no harm if you ask me.
I know most mapcorians love steam, I kind of like steam too. but i don't like where this is going. there should always be some competition and i see none. also: i think steam should make it possible to register retailcodes of every game they have in online sale, as a courtesy to their client. if i want to have some online play through steam, i'd have to pay another 50 euro's, while this game is 20 euros average in retails stores. anyway, steam can go fuck themselves in the ass. i'm off trying to play this game through anything else that will let me. just like the battlefield 2 games i couldn't register... ![]()
