tried to make one of my old custom skyboxes work but then hammer crashed, then the sdk crashed and finally, steam crashed. tbh i feel pretty oldskool now.

Ugh why would you want rockstar involved though. I hate their style of open world game, where you basically have two separate modes of play: Running around doing nothing in particular, and being on controlled linear missions that cut off your access to some stuff and have to be beaten right that moment in one go. I much prefer the Bethesda/GSC "add the mission to your task list, go handle it at your leisure while you go about your day" style. I've got this image in my head of Rockstar making a Dead Rising game and forcing you to sequentially, one by one, save the survivors in the mall.
yeah, good point..! agreed on this one though i'd still love to see an open world fps zombie survival/horror game with the ability to team up online and to have upgradeable npc's in singleplayer mode.
also: don't feed the troll

nice daydreaming =)
i think turtle rock studios (l4d, l4d2, some work for cs:s) should team up with rockstar games (gt4, rdr) and remedy studios (alam wake, max payne) to make an open world zombie survival game. remedy studios would be given control of the storyline and ambience, turtle rock should be focussing on the mechanics, zombietypes, weapons and characteristics and rockstar would be in control of the lay-out and the diversity of the environment. =)
i think red orchestra 2: heroes of stalingrad is coming pretty close to what would be perfect to me though..!

looks like it's about damn time we create an alien enemy then.

impressive!

or it's just a gossip magazine with a stretched photo of Jobs exploiting one of the many (allready confirmed) stories going around.

hmm i seem to be in disagreement, i better conceal my opinion!
you're being even more wayward now then when you would've stated your opinion. also; you could use Izuno's question as an excuse to do it anyway.
regardless, i think this trailer is very immersive, creative, awesome and manages to put a new angle on a totally ancient concept. also: brainbread had some fine piano tunes in the startup screen and i always found piano music extremely fitting for the zombie genre...

the story trailer gave me warm vibes.

it's those shameless fucks that never really contributed anything to the mod community anyway... if they think that good work should not be rewarded, their lifes must suck dick.

DO WANT!! you totally deserved this.

only for the presumed ''transition period''. in other words: the army gets to say who's the next big thing, which could be anyone atm.
-
it's great democracy has been given a chance but don't forget chances for other, not-so-democratic parties has increased dramatically too. now the egyptian army has total control, so i guess we'll see what happens. i hope i get to be proven a pessimist, that's for sure.

We'll see what happens next. I'm affraid it won't be so cool...
yeah everybody here is ''supporting the poeples of egypt for a democratic spring in the middle east''. the biggest opposing side of the relativley pro-western husni is the brotherhood of islam. lol.
sill hoping for democracy for muslim countries though. allthough some muslim countries have elements of democracy, turkey, georgia and bangladesh are the ones that come closest to the democacy as we know it... iraq is still a big questionmark.
