geralt is so badass, he does ballet when he wins a fistfight!

also: when you directly upgrade all you can on the igni sign and endurance, the game gets real easy, especially with the boss battles. almost every enemy is vulnerable to fire

finnished the witcher a few days back. still remains one of the most fun, inspiring and frustrating game experiences i've had. in one of the final cutscenes i got slashed half to death by a greater brother while having a quiet conversation with one of the vizima guards lol. can't wait for the witcher 2!!!

Are you playing the Enhanced Directors cut edition? Sure doesn't sound like it. Took me 78 hours to finish that game, a good time investment!

i knew you were going to reply on this one yeah, it's directors cut, and yeah i still don't regret investing all that time in it (think i'm at 60 hours now..) i'm just really frustrated because i know i'm going to have another try at it tonight...

is the swearing a reference to the swearing in game?

not really the dialogs are pretty cool though. there's lots of humor in the details...

so me and my roommates got disconnected from the internet 2 weeks ago because there are no reliable dutch internetproviders and somehow the cables running to the house got eroded or something. anyway, i decided it was time to finally finnish the witcher (enhanced edition). what a fucking game. i love the atmposphere, the dialoges, the sory and the amount of humor the game delivers, but...

    WHAT THE FUCK MAN

first off, let me start by saying i CUNT!! FUCK FUCK!!! love this game. but it's so fucking full of bugs it becomes nearly unplayable at times. like saving a game just before a fight? good luck, the fade in after a load game is 3 seconds EAT SHIT, CUNT! FUCK! in which you can't move your witcher. the npc can do whatever they please though - like slashing you to dead in those valuable 3 seconds. fucking retarded.

and don't get me started about clipping. half of the time CUNT!! SHIT! you're 'hopping' from the next small bump to another, feels laggy and it looks like shit because the animations pretty much suck. it also makes for weird, uncoordinated and static gameplay. seeing your player SHIIIIT!!! CUNT! float over obstacles and making half, unfinnished animations is not exactly helping me immerse in the gameplay. especially not when this occurs every 5 seconds.

then there are the fighting styles, which is pretty damn awesome. basicly you have different swords which you can each use in three modes (strong, fast and group - depending on the situation). unfortunatly it takes like 5 seconds to select a sword and then select the appropriate style for combat, which is enough to destroy your chances SHIT!! of survival in alot of situations. that is of course, if everything goes well, which CUNT!! PUSSY PUSSY PUSSY!!! half of the time isn't the case, since the gui feels like a 1998 html website with a laggy button script.

the monster AAAGGHH FUCK! FUCK! DICK!! ai (humans aswell as nonhumans) is on level with a retarded kid with his brain eaten out by dr. lecter. they get stuck behond objects alot and having them charge directly at you (NO exceptions!) doesn't really make them that scary. it makes them funny.

the scene where you encounter a wherewolf is a total trip. the werewolf looks shit (and this is an understatement tbh) and the animations for the cutscenes are so bad it made me litterally cry urine. for the people who don't know what i'm talking about; imagine a hairy elephant with a pigsnout jumping from roof to roof with the elegance of a func_conveyor.

right now i'm stuck in one of the final quests because i saved at the wrong time. having those precious 3 seconds rudely stolen away from me because of the fade-in and having me loading the same part over and over and over again pretty much threw me off and that makes me frustrated as hell. the concept of this game is amazing, the story, the way you upgrade your character, the charming dialogs, that's really awesome. but this game is so full of FUCK SHIT bugs that it feels FUCK FUUUCCKK like playing an early beta at best. because of it's high potential i would still encourage anyone to play this, despite my SHIT!! CUNT! rant concerning dr. lecter eating the brains of a retarded kid and all.

did you increase the contrast of the screenshots? looks awfully contrasty to me tbh. also: i hate the banner and buttons, imo they dont fit in with the rest of the (tight) design. content looks good tho!
