I feel that your scratches seem to loose on the texture. If this think moves as fast as it looks like it does you should have scratches and nicks that look like they all go in one direction giving it a streamline damaged effect.

I found this very cool, i would like to see more thought into ingame ads like these guys are doing rather than pasting them on maps like in cs.

Nice except i think there should be a larger difference in the way you texture the cannon holder and the cannon itself. they shouldnt look like they are the exact materials.
