Just finished watching it all... holy shit episode 9 was absolutely blinding, I actually leaned forward in my seat, dropped my jaw and put my hands to my face... brilliant!

So I played several hours of it at a friend's house. Game looks amazing, gorgeous detailed textures and stunning lighting effects bring the locations to life. The characters as with Uncharted are full of life and depth and dialogue is well done, especially the usual touches like banter between Joel and others.
I'm not the biggest fan of the gameplay however, but that's down to me not liking stealth games, it reminds me of Manhunt but thankfully not nearly as frustrating. I found it impossible to avoid the government forces, they always spotted me the minute I moved out from cover and what's with NPCs who are with you running around and not being spotted by the AI at all? That's just odd...
Also fuck clickers, enemies that instant-kill you should be banned!
The intro was probably one of the best ones to a game so far, absolutely brilliant.
I'll have to buy it for myself at some point and play through properly...

It works like a charm in Steam now, everytime it can't connect to the steam servers it gives you the option to go into offline mode!
