That's brilliant, can't wait to see it in action.
PS: Event Horizon ftw!

That looks really cool, something fresh and original. You might want to work on getting that blue on the textures right, it's still far too bright imho.
Who cares if they're making the areas different? It's pointless making a by-the-numbers remake of HL, we've already got one.. why do we need another? At least BM: Source is doing something that recreates the HL content...
...whereas HLDM: source is the most pointless creation since HLSP: source. 'Oh look it's exactly the same as HL1 but it has fancy shader water and some other small stuff from the newer engine!' *yawn*
Congratulations mate, good to hear you're doing well for yourself without us ![]()
I've said in the past that I was unimpressed by it's visuals but now I've seen the videos I know the screenshots do it no justice, it looks gorgeous in motion with lots of character models on screen at once.. plus you get to dress Agent 47 up as a chicken so it's won me over even more ![]()
Great thread.
I do often 'borrow' ideas from other people's work all the time, in the past I've even directly copied the style of a level from a game right down to the last details. While I use custom textures that are different to those of the original design, you can still tell where the original inspiration came from. Now I tend to borrow bits of the design from several sources, glue them together and then change bits that I feel need changing. That way whilst you've copied someone else's work in a sense it remains different enough to look fresh and new, thus making me 'great' ![]()

Maybe it was Nexus and he lied to us about his indentity ![]()
Excellent film, sceptical about the game though...
Brilliant!
Loved it, kept me on track till the end without any distractions which is a rare thing. Thought the way Hoffman's character died was a bit 'sudden' but other than that great film, totally lapped up the bridge scene ![]()
Anti Paris fans should go watch the House Of Wax remake, if only to see her die horribly.... actually that's the only reason to watch it, the film's shite.
Oh man, Turok on the N64 was a fucking game and a half, I played for hours in GAME once when I was younger on the demo console, the management had to ask me to leave so someone else could have a go ![]()
