Merry xmas to all, have a good day whatever you're doing, I'm off to bed for now ![]()
On the last shot, the break at the top (with the bricks in between wallpaper) doesn't look right, the bricks should be side ways and be crumbling out of the wall panel. The wallpaper/wood should be burnt and rugged looking and the sides of the wall look downright odd, they should be crumbled away or something:

Don't mind the terrible photoshop, but hopefully you see what I mean ![]()
Yes, I did a Google search, only found the cover logo font. Ooooh, excellent link there *bookmarks*. Don't think I'm any closer to finding out what it is though, perhaps it's a case of it being exclusive to the film only, cheers for the help anyhow ![]()
You think Linux is the be all and end all of operating systems, you are not entitled to an opinion ![]()
I'm looking for the font used in the intro sequence of 'Se7en', it looks something like this:
[Blocked Image: http://movies.infinitecoolness.com/03/seven01.gif]
There's two fonts overlayed on that screen capture though, basically the 'N' and the 'E' are part of this font, I don't have a clue what it's called so I was wondering if anyone else knows. A friend of mine wants this for a logo he needs to design.
Like I said it's a long shot but maybe someone here will know!
BJA: I love it, nice to see someone other than Method making real-world environments in the Doom 3 engine ![]()

QuoteHalo was actually fun. Neither Crysis nor FEAR did anything for me. They are extremely, hair pullingly, and genital hatchetingly generic. When Halo came out for Xbox it was fun. Back in 2001 it didn't have much to stack up against. Now-a-days Crysis and FEAR and all the other shitty games have to stack up against each other and gamers have to just choose which one sucks their ass the least. COD 4, FEAR, Crysis, Bioshock, etc etc, all suck IMO. They have left me despising the gaming industry. Companies keep bombarding us with mediocrity and for the most part, gamers cannot see through the pretty graphics for what the games really are.
In the words of Thrik: LOL!!!111111
My reply:
QuoteI'm sorry but that's utter dogshit, Crysis, F.E.A.R., Bioshock etc are dull, shitty and generic but Halo isn't? I must have played a different version of Halo, the one I played was full of generic looking alien locations, populated with enemies that resembled something from Manta Force with guns that look like they were designed by the people who marketed the super soaker water cannons. Buildings look downright dull and the interiors all look the same, confusing mazes that offer next to no originality whatsoever. In comparison to the former titles, Halo is downright boring and about as fun as watching paint dry.I mean.. Mediocrity? Is there another game where you can pickup a Korean soldier and throw him into his squad mates before shooting down a tree that falls down in perfect realistic fashion killing said soldiers instantly when it falls to the ground? Is there another game where you can explore an underwater metropolis fighting off deep sea divers with drills and squeezing the life out of a little girl? Is there another game where you can kick someone in the face whilst you shoot them in the legs with handguns akimbo? Don't at least two of those descriptions excite you in anyway, don't you think that partaking in such actions would be fun?
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them but you know, some opinions are just downright dumb.
Hah.
You guys are machines, how do you get so much time do this stuff? ![]()
There's nothing to get it's just stupid, you have to watch the normal one really:

The trees comment was quite amusing ![]()
Quote from ThrikIt's kind of a shame that they cannot possibly better the original trailer for sheer coolness, so it's an uphill battle.
That's really good for just bsp alone ![]()
The 2001 trailer is still the best trailer ever made for a game imho, I've not seen anything since that left me with a dropped jaw like when I first saw that. I saw the 1998 trailer the other day, that was loltastic, not quite as bad as the original 1997 Half-Life trailer though ![]()
I'll be looking forward to DNF anyway, after 10 years it can only be the best damn thing ever made right..?

Heh.. here we go again...
Oh that would happen when I am unable to access the forums *grins*
Hah, When I saw the trailer yesterday, I was thinking to myself 'what the Hell is batman doing riding a Lawmaster?!' as the new bike looks a lot like Judge Dredd's mode of transport in 2000AD.
Not too keen on their casting of the joker, I doubt very much Heath Ledger will match up to Jack Nicholson's portrayal, as Jack looks almost like a spitting image of the joker anyway, with or without makeup.
I saw Batman Begins at the cinema, I didn't like it that much, much prefer Tim Burton's originals. Christian Bale makes a good batman though, apart from the stupid 'Batman voice'.
Poor sales figures will be down to the fact that there isn't a system capable of running Crysis on the highest settings and therefore people don't want to buy it and have to knock the details down, that's my guess anyway. I'll buy it in the new year when I my system has had enough of an upgrade to run it at least on medium settings, I'm not fussy ![]()
