SInce usually the only strangers I ever get to interact with are either ppl who try to sell me shit or ppl who I buy shit from. It's interesting to see people to just hit idle conversations when they see we happen to tap at our phone screens at a yelling distance from one another.

I like to revisit Silent Storm every now and then. I fucking love the overly complex simulations that game has, for me it's like a turn-based playground for ballistics, explosions, destruction and how the A.I will react to everything that goes around. That will never get old.

Fantastic trailer. Too bad the game is yet another procedurally generated survival game.

Picked this up yesterday. Overwatch feels like a different game than during the betas.

Now that people actually know how to play their heroes properly ( usually on the opposing team... ) it feels like the game has shifted it's gear. Shit's happening all around you and don't know how to react.

I like that though, it makes me push myself to perform better. Most victories seem like earned ones rather than just being handed over from the incompetence of the other team.

The map is looking amazing so far.

So the theme of this map will have the ut2004 Egypt Tech? Boy did I love that theme of whole of UT2004, I basically did anything but maps with that theme I just loved using the golds, blues and greens the textures and the light props & trims it offered. It seemed whatever you did with those just looked awesome. Can't wait to see what this turns out in the end.

Grabbed this today and played for two hours. This is a good video game. Not only are the graphics very nice but the audio design is also pretty freaking awesome.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the GloryKill™ ? I think the glowy highlighted enemies takes too much attention from the other ones who are trying to kill you in a big fight.

Apart part from the annoying crashes the game is awesome. I haven't experienced any performance issues so far which I find odd since I'm running it with a fairly old graphics card. I've installed it to my SSD so anything that needs to be streamed is just not an issue. The issues might lie somewhere else, I'd suspect the always online system. Which I've found that it does have a tendency to slow the game for few frames whenever I look at any other players messages/ receive an item / equip an item / perform an action with npc / use souls to level up / etc. whatever needs to be sent to a database

The mechanics are just enough different to make things challenging for people who's played the previous Souls games (haven't played Bloodbourne so I don't know how similar to that it is). I've noticed the enemies have more attacks that cannot be blocked with a shield and their attacks won't be interrupted when you block. Instead your attacks interrupt enemies attacks, so the most viable tactic is to dodge and time your attack between the enemy's blows so you can stagger them with your attacks. The dodge has gotten more range and use less stamina and you recover from the dodge to do any attack almost instantly so it makes the combat more quick. So in short if you liked to use a shield in previous games, this time it's somewhat harder because you have to dodge more often and the combat is quicker because blocking more often does not stagger your enemies attacks.

This time around the art is frigging amazing. You can see every texture is not merely just slapped on photo sourced stuff(which has been the bane of the whole franchise tbh) and the lighting is at most parts top notch as well.

After a few days of playing this. I kinda have mixed feelings about this game. I mean from all the features the game has, it is like the most awesome close quarters combat game ever.

I wish this game had dedicated servers. I feel like I'm always in a disadvantage against players with a shitty connection because they can just run into me and knife me and never see I'm putting a shot with my shotgun to their face because the whole thing took less than half a second. It just always forces every fight for people to inch away slowly from the corners because any quick action would never work since the other players would see you run out of the corner before your camera ever even sees around it.

Been playing this game way more than I should have. Mostly because it's so damn intense! So fucking brutal missions and the "doomsday" timer just keeps ticking away... I always have to send my best guys in only to get them back in a body bag or with their limbs barely hanging on.

Loving the procedural generated levels and how you can destroy pretty much anything in them from making small peep holes to shoot from to breaking walls and leveling buildings to a rubble.

I've only had one mission which kept crashing on me constantly but other than that the game has been running great for me.

I just measure the prop I want to place using a brush in hammer and block it out in my modeling program. Then snap one of the cornering vertices to the grid origin so It'll snap perfectly in grid once it's exported to hammer.

Well I got the closed beta. It's surprisingly fun, though some abilities feel kinda unfair. Most require some skill and timing to pull off but few of them are just "boom you're all dead because I pressed this button"

My first impression is that it plays similarly like TF2, minus the things I hated about TF2.

As much as I would love to hate on FC4 being the reskinned FC3, the soundtrack was frigging awesome. One of the best in my opinion.

This better have a melee system as good as in Dying Light. I don't know if this will keep me playing the usual Far Cry lenght of 40+ hours if it didn't.

The only reason I managed to do the assault mission was because on my 3rd try the server had these friendly dudes who helped everyone to get all the hostage pickups, I would have given up otherwise since I didn't even get my first pick up from the previous 2 matches.
