I haven't enabled the request challenge yet, I'm not ready to feel absolutely horrible about myself just yet.

That old thread evades me.
So, it's pretty awesome. It looks goddamn ridiculous and feels great. Yet to play online, still messing around with a few characters. Also the 360 stick is a bunch of shit. Dualshock pad was a lot more bearable. Might look into one of the Madcatz fight pads if I can manage one.

Alfie is certainly living up to his name.

Enemies weighing you down, riding Cyclops and reverse demon-arming off enemies, fuck yes.

Completely missed this thread. I'll go for the 15th.

I didn't expect Cars to be #1 overall last year.

Good god, this thread calls for another old school contest.
Brush based toilets ftw.

Pretty predictable, probably could have called that Top 10 last year.

I gave it a go. I think for someone who hasn't really played an RTS before would have some fun with it, which was probably who it was directed at. The oddest thing about it was that the base building/resource management seemed to be the area with the most depth, from playing a few skirmish matches. It seems what units you build and when is far more important than where they are in the level and the control you have over them. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just wasn't that engaging. Battle's look cool, so you want to spend your time looking over a fight, but there just isn't a ton for you to do when you are.
I think it comes down to the controls. You can't properly micro with a controller, so finely shuffling your units around isn't really an option. Or at least when you do, it's time consuming and largely irritating. So, what ends up happening is you send out the entirety of your army in one clump and hope for the best. (There were no formation functions as far as I could tell, either)
Maybe spending more time with it will pull out more depth from it. Certainly not bad game, maybe just not for an RTS elitist.

Everything.
Cool to see more CoD4 maps posted.

I was impressed with how faithful Bad Company was to the series. The scale may have been brought down slightly, but I think short of UI changes, what makes Battlefield great was well maintained in the transition.
If you can still swim across a lake for 2 minutes hoping you don't get shot up, you know it's still Battlefield at heart.
-
The pacing and balance in 1942 is still better than all others. Bad Company, oddly enough, is the closest thing to it.
Though, when I heard this rumor yesterday I was really expecting 1943 to be a proper sequel. Kinda dissapointed it's just a sort of mini-remake for XBL and PSN. How many battlefield off shoots are we gonna have before a proper 'Battefield 3'?

There's always more to a story, it's just the way actors have to be handled. I can't imagine many people in any industry being able to just shake this shit off and come in the next day as if nothing happened. The fact that an outburst may have been called for doesn't negate the fact he was being a total dick. Do this shit in private at least, not on an open set in front of crew.
-
Whaaa, millionaire actor was distracted from wandering lighting guy, I guess I'll bitch him out in front of the crew. Fuck stars

-
haha, totally unintentional. I was striking things in a hurry.
