I was going to grab Shift but now I just don't know...Dirt is a lot further from PGR than Shift it seems, so maybe I'll go with that. Looks like it might also fill that rallisport challenge void that's been in my life for so many years.
Woha, the T spawn beach is pretty fuckin' rad. The whole map overall is really well put together, looks like you spent about as much time on the non-playable areas as you did the playable
I like how everything is tight as hell too. Lots of really close quarters shit going on.
Way to take an overdone theme and make it something cool.
Quote":ut9ozxeb]I hope there's more to it than the trailer show, but it looks damn promising!Dicaprio is acting on some pretty decent movies on the last couple of years.
Leo is the man.

I do, to. I always piss off my friends in multiplayer Diablo by taking too long looting and not rushing forward fast enough.
Yep, I thought I was playing D2 properly until I started partying with friends. Seeing them burn through Act 1 in about 15 minutes while I'm still choosing skill points after my first level up made me sad.
I get crazy neurotic about point distribution
I didn't really know much about it going in, I hadn't played Odin Sphere or Grim Grimoire before hand or even know much about them other than being heavily 2D focused games. But the combat is really fun, Bosses are great so far and I think the game looks fantastic, lots of crazy messing with depth stuff happening in the backgrounds. Kind of a shame it's on the Wii even, would love to see this at 720p.
Looks really fun. Kind of a downer the focus seems to be on the Co-op play though, I like my RPG's slow, lonely and boring.
Shit, this game's awesome, it's like Viewtiful Joe with leveling up and items.

It's every fathers duty to take their daughter to see District 9, I figured this was common sense.
Looks like good stuff from the shots. If I had Quake 2 in I'd give it a spin.
Wouldn't worry about posting work on older engines, you might get a few people screaming about using newer tech but that's about it.
It's really great. This and District 9 made it a good year for sci fi.
I'd be surprised if the acquisition lead to Disney somehow changing Marvel's bent to be more geared towards kids for family entertainment. Just for perspective, Disney also owns Miramax film company. They may be Disney but they're still a corporation and Marvel seems to be raking it in so I can't see them toying with something that works.
Prototype looked like it was focus tested to hell, even more so than Infamous.
Good game, if too angsty for its own good. Combat was surprising in that it did a really good job of maintaining a pretty strong difficulty throughout, even while overloading you with powers. It gets a bit spammy at times, but the platforming changes it up enough where that doesn't really become a problem.
Quote from ThrikIt seems to be getting extremely good reviews. It's got 88% on Rotten Tomatoes which puts it way up there with a lot of classics, and its IMDB score (8.9/10) is pretty meaty too. Not to mention I know several people who went to see it and thought it was amazing.Overall gist seems to be that it's one of Tarantino's best. Think I'll have to try and make it to the cinema for this one.
the IMDB score for any decent movie the first couple weeks out the gate is irrelevant anyway. Not sure where people are coming from calling it his masterpiece. Maybe I'm just too much of a pre-Kill Bill fan to understand. Some of the most schizophrenic casting for a movie as well. Tarantino can sure pick his women but not sure who thought it was a good idea to put guys from The Office in there.
I enjoyed it though.
Quote from MazyI donno, looks like a really solid game (and an Eidos game even!), but I'm just not that interested in it. Demo was nice but I kinda got enough from that already, and to be honest I'm kinda burned out on Batman. Might buy it sometime later tho.
Pretty much this. Demo was good but I'm just not pumped for it. Definitely grab it down the line.
Quote from JetsetlemmingFrom what I've heard some of it is mantling and climbing things, but some of it is also for example running and sliding on the floor under an obstacle or past danger, or close quarters things with enemies. I think one of the main reasons they're not letting you shoot is they're using where you look to control the automatic acrobatic thing- run towards a table and look down and you'll slide underneath it, look up and you'll jump on top and keep running, etc. There's no reason that on a mouse where you can quickly switch between pointing where you want to go and pointing at an enemy's head you can't have the control do both though, which is why I'm hopping for modded versions once it's released that let you shoot while using action stuff, or at least the action stuff that leaves your hands free.
I think the characters heads are too small to allow for them to both shoot and do acrobatics at the same time...
